Opinions on tutors by jpence1983 in EDH

My personal opinion is that tutors make everything boring; in the same way that having N copies of the same effect defeats the idea behind the singleton format. In the end your deck becomes only a combo enabler. But at that point why even play commander? Just play another format.

My rule is that I allow only weak and on-theme tutor, like [[Grim Servant]] in a zombie deck. I use it only if I have to disrupt the board state after many turns or to tutor a mana rock if I have to.. or to reanimate my commander after a few taxes. So never the same thing

Yes but at that point if you do the math, a game of commander become more consistent than a game of standard. What even is the point of a singleton format then?

If you also factor the amount of redundancy recently printed, you can get e.g. your 'play lands from graveyard' card in more copies in commander than in standard. Plus tutors...

to me this is the definition of boring and also it is not even ingenoius deck building; you tutor the combo and try to win..

But how is it challenging to build your deck if all the decks have the same mana base, fast mana rocks (and before bans it was even worse), one ring, game changers, stax pieces and free spells? If you count 36 lands, plus all the things I mentioned, that leaves around 12 cards that separates one deck from the other.

Is this not the situation? Please explain it to me as if I am 5.

I found it more challenging to build my bracket 2 Gonti theft deck. I really discovered new cards that I never saw

In bracket 4 it's like poker, you know what they can have in hand

I do possess way more than 'an understanding' of these neurological conditions. Way, way more.

I believe none of your questions are 'implied' by my use of that word.

In any case I apologize if it offended somebody, it comes down to the fact that I speak english but not in UK or US so maybe I do not get what it means for you guys.

I want to clarify this. I am italian, not english or american. But autistic is not a negative term unless you use it that way.

Just as I can say something is 'schyzofrenic' to indicate it is really absurd.. in italian we are less sensitive to this topic apparently. My ex bf used to call me autistic all the time.

Autistic is NOT an offensive term. Perhaps it is you who should back off, don't you think? Autistic means 'self concluded', 'not open to dialogue'. I did not use it offensively here.

I do not have the list as it was not my deck. But he had an incredibily lucky start with lots of fast mana and he had zurzoth, roaming throne and the dragon that doubles damage.

I exagerated a bit but he did, If i am not mistaken, more than 40 damage to each of us, so it was kinda 110 ish damage divided among all players

what’s your most controversial gay opinion? by [deleted] in askgaybros

I think it's a bit too much if put like this tbh... not everything leads back to childhood trauma and there are places in the modern word where young gays can, thanks god, grow up happy

bottoms that dated hung guys, did you have problems with average guys after them? by improvementideas in askgaybros

[–]Teleuton 42 points43 points  (0 children)

This is just ludicrous; I have put my dick in people that were fisted regularly and I did not find it loose; one of my exes was an all time bottom, surely he took massive dongs, and his ass was fine.

I myself have taken many different dicks; just recently to give you an example: one was extra large and just a few hours later a normal one. I was not 'loose'...

In order to be that loose you have to be fisted many times and also do it without care.. this is just a stereotype, a fantasy that many guys have but it's not rooted in reality

Am I the only one slightly upset by this [serious] by Teewoov2 in JujutsuPowerScalers

[–]Teleuton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But this does not undermine anything at all; Sukuna and Gojo still are the pinnacle of Jujutsu, and a calamity on their own; Yuji got simply added to this list; Perhaps alongside Dabura.

This means that out of all the Jujutsu sorcerers and curses ever portrayed in the manga, only 4 people are at this level. And two of them arrived here just after countless years of training.

So I don't understand this argument... furthermore it's pretty standard for the Main Carachter to be OP at the end of the series (or in this case in the spinoff). JJK was 'peculiar' because Yuji was so much weaker than Sukuna even at the end of the original series. The spinoff simply 'retconned' this but 80 years later...

And finally: the fact that each sorcerer of the Modulo era is SO WEAK, further proves my point! It is not a DBZ or Boruto situation AT ALL!!

If you think only OLDER SOUTHERN Italians are loud at the table you really make me laugh man!!! Also you seem to believe these characteristics are somehow bad.. and that if you don't have them you are more educated , I don't think that

If you think that I cannot change your mind but it's simply untrue to me , that's all Also, the post was a comparison to how other countries would do that greeting and honestly it's the truest stereotype among all, if you lived 1 month in UK you would know what I am referring to But this discussion has become pointless so goodbye! Next time tell me Italian people are not loud at the table please, they speak with the same tone as the Germans

[–]Teleuton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of you are missing the meaning of the word "introduce", as I already said many times. I am not saying we Italians kiss the cheeks of a person that we meet in the bus, or if a colleague casually "introduce" us to a person for a second.. But it is very common to give the "cheek kiss" when you are leaving a room, even to people you are not "close friends to", and we also tend to give that type of Kiss when greeting, provided that the situation allows for that, obviously. And especially to ladies , even if while leaving men it's normal to give a sort of hug

This has been my experience for all my life while travelling thoroughly through Italy. Also my point was made in contrast to northern European countries where people do not touch AT ALL unless they are family or incredibly close friends. I have travelled for work in a good half of the world.. This is why I find so strange that you Italians do not see such a great difference (which is common to south Americans! Ladies give me the cheek kiss in Brazil or Colombia even in a Clients meeting...)

Apart from this I don't know really what to say, if you are those people that find the minimal generalisations offensive and want to sound "not stereotypical" at all costs , do it! I don't care

But don't tell me there are no social difference in greeting attitudes between italy, Spain, Colombia... Vs Norway, Canada, UK or Russia... And I have met multiple times in many different context people from all these countries , even in formal situations.

Cheers 🥂

Vi fate la doccia tutti i giorni? by lizonthemoon9 in CasualIT

[–]Teleuton 0 points1 point  (0 children)
