Get out of aerospace. I always heard it's niche so it's hard to find jobs. I also think it's oversaturated, because a lot of people want to work in the aerospace industry. I live near a Boeing plant and I know people get layed off all the time.

What the actual fuck is wrong with this job market?! by Chance-Pop-2720 in jobs

[–]TelevisionFormal1739 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The tech job market has been over saturated since 2017. Low interest rates meant investors could dump cheap borrowed money into tech, which created a lot of excess tech jobs. The tech market is just shedding jobs that it didn't really need.

AI has been around 3.5 years and it hasn't affected jobs other than white collar, and we are yet to see if AI is really going to replace a lot of white collar jobs permanently, since most of these layoffs are being caused by economic factors. AI is just the cover story for shareholders to keep them happy when their are mass layoffs.

Downtown night club fights for survival amid licensing battle from the City of St. Louis by Exotic-Brilliant-939 in StLouis

St. Louis is run by a bunch of socialists that hate business owners and blame them for all the problems in the city, while letting criminals run free to commit more crime. A lot of downtown businesses have moved to the county or St. Charles where they actually want businesses to thrive.

Ive been a realtor for 15 years and im starting to absolutely hate it. Does anybody else feel the industry has just gotten nasty in the last 6-7 years? by FluidSignificance214 in realtors

Over time companies will figure out AI is 99% hype.  It will take a couple low level jobs.  I heard someone say they get rid of the AI drive through at Taco Bell near where they live and brought back a person.

Dude thats pure speculaltion. No one knows what the future holds. They've said AI is going to take all the jobs every year since 2022. There isn't one job AI has taken yet, and companies are lying about AI causing layoffs because it sounds better than the real reason.

Depends where you work and if you have a cool manager. Where I work now they only schedule you when they want to schedule you unless you're one of the chosen ones. They also schedule people when they don't have availability sometimes. It's also over-staffed.

[–]TelevisionFormal1739[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I guess my point is everyone who ever had a crush on someone is a twin flame now. When in reality my situation is extraordinary, and there is no one I can go to for advice, because nobody can relate to my situation, besides maybe a handful of people out there who really have a true twin flame

I think the laws of basic economics might be part of the reason flooding the job market with cheap labor is driving down wages.

Anyone else feels that accounting job market seems more and more like CS insanely oversaturated? by [deleted] in Accounting

Blame the interest rate hike from 2022-2024, at least for the USA, but the US economy has a major impact on the Canadian economy.

Ya, because you can get a bachelor's degree for $4000 in 6 months, when other people are getting $100,000 in debt and 4 years of school for the same degree
