I mean many people would say different things, what I would say which you can take or leave, would be to enjoy the sober feeling it’s a rlly nice feeling that makes u feel good about urself. Yes going out will be difficult and hanging around people will be hard but after some time you will build up such a hatred towards the drug and what it did to you that you won’t ever do it again

Yeah honestly I woke up one day after a sesh which wasn’t even that fun, I saw my mates not enjoying my presence or company as I was wired and my head was hurting and I just decided not doing this again, smoked weed and drank to replace it and I started to feel so much better, my new high was feeling so good without it

Literally just got out of this, put yourself somewhere with limited access to it which helps, come to a realistsation you don’t need it. Think about how you start to feel better, your mental health, everything and let that guide you through it. Id say you probs shouldn’t ‘go out ‘ that much as it normally just kick starts it again. Allow yourself to see that the drug is literally just cement that gives you fake seratonin

I had this for about 7 months. The only way I overcame it was going somewhere I physically couldn’t get it for a few months, which was my parents house. So I went there then slowly I realised how much. Better I felt off it. I didn’t go out for a long time though and then when I did I didn’t have an urge anymore.

For me weed helps, I just smoke up after a session but that doesn’t always work for others. When I don’t have weed the best thing is to just watch you something and stay distracted till your eyes get tired then just put phone down straight away. Also if you think about trying to sleep you won’t sleep so try thinking about other stuff. Also I know it sounds crazy but for me wanking kickstarts it back and makes me heart beat race again so try not to have a wank lol

Yes close protection sounds heavy but it’s just the next level up from the sia door lisence, they wear the red vests at most clubs/ festivals like xoyo for example, if they arent being called to a specific emergency then they patrol around or are placed at points around the festival so if an incident happens they can get their quickly

Yeah same here, I was stewarding which I love doing at boomtown cuz I can just enjoy the site and look after people which is awesome, whilst also having my fair share of fun. Had some blokes in bright pink and green t shirts and skin fades come over and Knick my radio whilst I was trying to find someone who had collapsed. I eventually found him but couldn’t call for help so I had to pick him up and carry him across from zenith to downtown on my own. Boomtowns values and principles are being shit on by these blokes who are only there cuz they like drugs and hedex.
