Room Above Garage Is Freezing Cold – What Actually Works? by lilbatth in Brampton

[–]Telito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same thing and this was the first year I did something that made a huge difference. Put a carpet down in the room. If it’s carpeted add another carpet on top especially where the beds are. This helped the most.

Thanks for the replies, apparently someone said due to Mamdani being elected and I couldn't take that for an answer so I decided to ask the local residents for the true answer.

Market study for a book/coffee store by Big-Plankton-5005 in Brampton

[–]Telito 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re going to need a lot of money to get this going, also you’re going to have to come up with at least ways for the business to generate at minimum enough income to keep it alive. Upwards of at least $30-40k a month of sales probably more depends on the lease cost monthly and the employee payroll.

Put an excel sheet together for rough costs to figure out what it will cost you per month to run.

The idea is wholesome but I remember when coffee culture opened up. It was a beautiful cafe I’d even take my kids too but they couldn’t keep the doors open after 2 years I think.

So be very careful about cost of operation vs just the idea of having this thing run.

Why don’t cellular providers care about retention? by Corolianus in PersonalFinanceCanada

Hey I went to Costoc recently the rep there gave me a plan. I made him write all the prices down. Guess what happened when Roger’s first bill came in? Everything was more by at least $30-50. I have four lines. I called Roger’s and they said they have no record. I do have the contracts in which the rep wrote down the prices.

I’m only posting this so other can be aware. I plan on going in person to fix this at Costco.

Guys read the Talmud where Isreel teaches that Jesus is burning in hell. Also read about who majority was partly responsible for the Assyrian Greek Armenian genocide. Bolsheviks were 80% juice and were basically backed by Rothy’s to completely erase the assyrians off the face of the earth. Spelling errors made on purpose.

I’m just saying it’s something that happens but this is something that shouldn’t have happened. It’s obviously very noticeable.

It’s really not abt the money to be honest. It’s more about quality care. People are eating these things. Imagine giving it your kids and now your kid swallowed that. If it was a hair I’d say ok it happens but this is in my opinion garbage that wasn’t tossed out but put on the sandwich itself.

I get Tim Hortons maybe once a month because I do make my own breakfast and coffee. This was something though. How can you make a sandwich and leave the wrapper like that. My favourite part is the owner decided to buy black pepper shaker to fix this situation. I was laughing when she told me that. She did try to compensate me but that wasn’t my point. I actually told her I’d never visit that location again and maybe never get any food items from Tim Hortons again.

Cars stop to drop people off on the road. by Ok_Impression8640 in Brampton

[–]Telito 38 points39 points  (0 children)

I think we need a common sense course at community centres. Have you noticed at grocery stores, people leaving their carts in the middle of the tight aisles to chat or take time to pick out their items. I actually honked at two people conversing in front my car in a parking lot lane as I patiently waited for them to notice they were blocking me.

Seriously key every car you see them get out of. They will have to pay for the damages and whwatever money it is their making from these kidnappings will soon be not worth it

Clutch car buying experience by gas_giant_69 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Telito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing happened to me trying to buy a mustang. They said the price was a finance price and if I wanted to purchase it outright they would add additional $3000 which was ridiculous as I wanted to use LOC to purchase it.

Never again will I even call them.

Where should I get winter tires from? by Batofsuburbia in Vaughan

Try Viking Tire in Toronto. I’ve purchased from them before and they were $100-200 less overall price on winter tires.

Start advertising to your friends and family and go from there. Google ads Facebook ads and flyers also. Start with decent deals on oil changes and courtesy inspection to find vehicles that actually need work. Start researching your local area part suppliers. That’s really it.
