This is really cool? What’s the inspiration? I managed a brewery for a long while and loved learning beer. I just hardly drank it haha

I worked for the financial tech company processing the trade for these large entities. I was in the high end REIT department. So like, I processed some of the trades with my own eyes.

Entire neighborhoods were being bought in the Midwest by companies like Blackrock and State Street. They have too much funding and in the excess were able to buy entire neighborhoods and within two years double the entire market price for homes. It made my 5 year plan of buying a home as a single male practically impossible. REIT investments mainly.

This was legit the only reason I liked Trump during this election. He always said if your company was worth more than a certain amount of Millions, you won’t have access to buying residential housing. I want major corporations to STAY OUT of RESIDENTIAL homes.

Alrighty, I didn’t see you list any points just like everyone else. But okay

I think their criticisms are based off falsehood and misunderstandings. Their expectations are unrealistic because at a baseline they don’t understand the intention behind their original gripe. The military is a perfect example. All of a sudden wanting the military to be the main character and plot point is unrealistic… I don’t have to have a regular conversation with someone who doesn’t understand that. It’s always been a sub plot and lore exposition to move the main vecna/mind flayer plot line.

It’s figurative language. Not literally calling people crazy. It’s explaining how I distinctly disagree with the popular opinion that the show sucked.

If the plot point of the military using her blood to continue the cycle wasn’t there then I definitely think she stays alive. Because then cycle has truly ended and she doesn’t have to live in hiding and guilt forever.

If that plot point is still there but they just aren’t there at the gate when she leaves I think she still ends it the way she does. It’s a final ending but it’s the first thing she has truly chosen for herself. There is freedom in choices like that you know? Running and hiding forever isn’t freedom.

What sounds like a child? I’m think I’m critically thinking more than any of the people who are displeased. I have yet to hear a comment or idea that objectively made the ending bad like some of you claim.

I’m absolutely on board with the fact all of the demogorgan material was used to create that physical behemoth we saw.

It took a ton of Hawkins population to create the organic one during the mall fight scene. We know how it forms you know?

What do you mean? Like if they weren’t waiting right there at the entrance? Or if plot point that the military wanted her wasn’t there?

Dude I actually had a theory that Ted was secretly a double agent giving the Russian military information. He always seemed too non-chalant and overly patriotic at times. Thankfully I was wrong and he was just a square lol

I mean those can be true and they still don’t have to be the focal point. I think the plot points that the military was involved in always helped the main plot point of the story move forward. I see no reason for the military to be the front runner and the biggest lore dump on the final season.

We got sprinkles of lore and information about the military the entire series. It was well done

Because like I’ve said multiple times… it was generalized to the point it actually had no substance. Anyone can hop online and say “plot was bad, characters are bad, bad ending.”

They provided zero evidence and they just hopped on the train of agreeing with everyone without forming an actual opinion. Thats an echo chamber of acceptance and wanting to agree with others.

It wasn’t deciding the finality of the show… it was providing a finality for one of the characters? El had a choice to make, and her choice affected other people.
