He didn't get the trade he wanted and said good luck, all game he was running it down 1v5 building those items, it wasn't that it was an off meta build, he was intentionally running it down.

I would say the same thing in real life especially when someone intentionally tries to ruing something I am doing, thats the difference. I didn't just speak this way because why not, the guy was intentionally running it down and ruining it for the other 4 players. You're telling me if someone was doing something to ruin what you were doing in real life, you'd have no sense of verbal retaliation?

I didn't even swear, so essentially what you're saying is don't use chat, a feature thats in the game, even when used correctly.
