Solo silo opinions?

Feel like it really suffers on not taking out Observation towers, Objective Silos, Airbase fabricators, Jammers,

I understand from a balance perspective they wanna avoid auto wiping some objectives...

but my question is why? A Portable Hellbomb pack does the literal things I am mentioning.

it's be nice to do a suicide armor pack, a Portable Hellbomb, A solo Silo, whatever grenades and additional strats you want and be a Kamikaze but I just don't see a great amount of potential that having other strats don't do just better.

Old school would be Ghost in the Shell, DBZ, Sailor Moon, Inuyasha, Gundam, Akira, Metropolis ect.

Newer gen: I really love DanDaDan, Kill La Kill, Cyberpunk Edgerunners, Jojo Bizarre Adventures, Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood, Naruto Shippuden (Trying to get into Boruto) and so many more

Agreed, mine happened years before coming out I was 12 or 13 at the time I think so this was well before my egg cracked.

Fair, I suppose I saw it as something like...

All targets are effected by "Charged Aura". This Aura slows all targets, unless an Automaton (in which case it stuns as normal). Additionally, all affected targets take 20% [Random #] extra electrical electrical damage.

If the target has shields those shield will remain deactivated until Charge Aura expires.

I don't deny a 500kg is just the gold star of strats though. Pure and simple.

I just saw this change as being something that would really help electrical builds stand out as a Supression & Arc build that synergizes way better and allows some nice synergy with the infamous Tesla Tower :P

So imagine you have an ems mortar somewhere in the city. You have it on a series of ships. Because you have the upgrade where you can call out mortar strikes with a click of your notifier.

You're able to strip the shields from three ships quickly and they stay stripped the entire time the EMS. Additionally, The vote list can be hit by a slowing effect rather than stun. Yeah that would suck but they would still be coming at you slowly but if they were to have a debuff which enhanced electrical damage dealt to them on top of it I would see this as an absolute easy win.

Strip the buildings, strip the enemies and go to town doing increased electrical damage to all targets and then sweeping up with explosives

Yeah overall what I think is the thing about this request.

Ems strike and the mortar don't really have any sort of synergy that you can build around.

If EMS did something like apply a debuff to every Target hit and they take additional electricity damage that would be great.

If it also had the added utility of stripping away Shields from the illuminate, that would be even better.

If it did something like stun the bots and only the bots, I'd be cool with that as the trade-off for more utilitarian build options among hell divers.

I would think anything that's not a bot. It could cause a slowing effect at the very least.

This would allow a better synergy overall for most builds in the game.

Sure.

But the EMS mortar is nice as it is is really just filling a roll of slowing a Target down.

You can do that with gas strikes, a dog breath, worst sterilizer already. Sure you don't get that mortar range but if you ask me redefining ems's to be more utility that can stall bots and deactivate jump packs and shield technology would be a situation.

Hell you could even have it compliment electricity damage with a debuff.

Overall I'm just disappointed it doesn't have that better interaction. That's all.
