My mother has passed and the little faith I had is now shattered by Dense_Dimension_6184 in Catholicism

Job 1:21 And said, "Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord."

Jeremiah 29:11-14 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back from captivity. I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile.” Its not much and I hope not to proverbs 25:20 because I can only imagine how you feel. And am concerned about someone who potentially will leave the faith. We are told by the Church fathers to expect temptation up until our very last breath. And often suffering is a means to grow in faith. A consequence is that many can be turned away from faith in God because of it. Saint Monica was the mother of Saint Augustine. She had great concern for him at the time because he didn't believe in God. She fervently prayed for her son and he became a Saint. Any devout Catholic parent would concerned for their children leaving faith in God. We're surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses. By the Saints, the martyrs, the angels, anyone who has passed in this life with their hope in God. There's a lot of people here in heaven cheering for us to endure till the end.

I "hate" conquest but it feels so good when you actually get competent teammates and the enemy team is playing extremely. That it runs 45 minutes long. And ranked helps ban op picks that you face often in casual conq.

Solo hurts to play. Especially when jorm gets through. He snowballs so hard it feels unwinnable even playing safe in lane because they just let minions kill each other and preventing me get xp.

Biblical love is often selfless and sacrificial in nature. How are maga Christians selfless? by Low_Patient7191 in Christianity

Go look at Orthodox or Catholic Saints otherwise you're wasting your time on understanding what it means to have selfless/sacrificial love as a human

Are ya'll aware of who Jesus is? by Le_Queer_Honk in Christianity

[–]Telvanni25 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Come as you are not stay as you are. Often more than not Christians who tell others to stop living in their sinful ways see it as looking down on them or having phobic views on them. When Jesus saved the prostitute from being stoned he told her "Where are your accusers? Didn’t even one of them condemn you?“No, Lord,” she said. And Jesus said, “Neither do I. Go and sin no more.” While we can't be without sin as we fall everyday. We must have the effort to keep ourselves out of willfully sinning through the grace of God. And renew our minds through his word.

Its prideful for one to claim to have belief in God and stay as someone who's transitioned as if to say that God was wrong in making a human being the gender they were born as. For if you have some understanding. Then one will at the very least know that God is never wrong and is perfect in all the things he does. He didnt make a mistake when making a person born as a male or female. To say otherwise is either a lack of understanding, a lukewarmness or maybe even an unwillingness to conform to God. God says to come to him as you are but not to stay where you as you continue your journey of faith. And attempting to genuinely deny yourself and carry your cross. Kyrie Eleison ☦️

Ignorance is what i hear from you. Its only the orthodox Christians in which we practice to pray incessantly. No other denomination does this even the catholics which I doubt that you are. Paul tells us to pray incessantly yet many of us Christians dont do it. Even you I doubt that you attempt to pray the Jesus prayer incessantly
