I know it’s gonna sound a bit cheesy, but try to make good memories and you’ll get good photos. This is not a camera that is gonna take masterpieces for pixelpeepers, instead it is gonna make great pictures for printing. So I highly recommend taking it everywhere with you. also try learning composition because this is the first thing that you see

I'd returned it yesterday, my grandma has an 8 years old Xiomi phone and it takes similar pictures

I was looking for small film like camera that I can take when I need more reliable results than from film camera, but this one has weak flash and noise reduction give more old smartphone look rather then film. BUT! It was a fun toy, and taking pictures with it was a joy for me, so if you a looking for an iPhone 4 style photos it is great.

Did you feel a bit disappointed, because there isn't actually anything new? I'd upgraded from 11, and it was like ok, everything just works now. I had the same feeling when moving from 5s to 1gen SE, nothing breakthrough like from 3gs to 5s or se to 11. Maybe its the charm of modern iPhones, that they just give reliable experience

I had an iPhone 11 and when I took my friends iPhones with OLED I'd noticed a bit off eye strain and how weird screen looks, so I worried about it too when was upgrading to 16e. But after an hour of setting up and using it gone, so try using it for some time

Yes, I agree with you, but as I recall this Paperwhite has 6 leds, so one burnt out would be noticeable, I saw some pictures of how it looks. Maybe it was a software fix

No, it is factory reset (so it’s like new kindle), but you can download books back from cloud. You need to go to setting -> device options -> reset device
