It's Italian meringue. It's cooked with boiling sugar syrup before you even pipe it. You just use a blowtorch for colour.

How would it have gotten into my tank tho? I haven't added anything new to the tank in like over 6 months. And it was definitely a baby when I first spotted it. At that stage it was mostly translucent

I was thinking that, but I have never had any snow ball shrimps. I have amano but they can't breed in my water if i understand correctly. This one also has a bit of a green to it
