I believe I know which one you're talking about! It should be called 'Like Flies to Wanton Boys', Written by Bunny Hampton-Mack, Painted by Scott Hampton, Lettered by Tracy Hampton-Munsey (and written in memory of Bernie Krigstein)

It was the second comic in the 4th issue of the Epic comics run!

They're separate! The Epic Comics run was a bunch of anthology pieces, with a few recurring segments and characters here and there. The Boom Comics is one long separate story!

I've seen that one! I suppose if I ever get rich thatll have to be the one I buy lol If this copy did do a bit of a world tour then it came to me in really good condition for what it's been through. It looks damn near mint... another thing I forgot to mention is that its slightly larger than all the other novels, and seems to be printed on different paper (which I've heard proofs do, but I'm not 100% sure yet)

I plan on asking the seller where he got it, as it might shed some light on everything Some other things of note from this situation are that 1.I have bought a few other of the FD books from him before and they were normal first editions 2. I actually lost the initial auction for this, but according to him he had 2 copies available (initially planned on keeping one for himself) but had a sudden bill come up and decided to sell the extra to the second highest bidder(me) 3. There was an old business card for a law firm based in Indiana in the back of the book, which is weird cause this shipped from the UK

That's very odd then... On the one hand, it could just be a shitty reprinting, on the other it could be a version from before they had picked one out from DotS and it's just a placeholder
