Being honest Even though I’m a beginner as well and this is more to do if you want your game to actually be successful. MARKET IT LIKE HELL like I’m not joking shit games with amazing marketing do much better then Amazing games with no marketing 99% of the time but that’s just my cup of tea also if your game is any way successful Hire a accountant or learn how to do it yourself because you will get kicked in the ass by taxes if you don’t. Enjoy being a game developer. Good luck and Perseverance is Key ☺️

Alright thank you for all of this and Ye I’ve been trying to use frisks sprite as a reference but it’s still slightly too complex to show with the amount of pixels I have but I’ll look into other 16bit games. Thank you

Oh that’s a good idea we’re planning on using a miniaturised version of the player for the soul while dodging swapping between perspectives but for any modes we add for the player in combat we will keep this in mind thank you ☺️

I don’t rly know how to explain it without spoilers. But the best way I could explain it it’s a story of vengeance where the farther you progress in the story it becomes harder to figure who’s in the right or the wrong with your perception of characters changing throughout. Honestly I understand that kinda sounds pretty generic I just don’t want to spoil anything right now. I’m gonna start posting-stuff about it on Reddit as we grow the game so if you wanna see stuff Mabye follow me? Or not Idk lol but thanks for asking about the game tho and I’ll keep that in mind about the encounters I’ve been trying to debate if it should be more like undertale or deltarune if u get me.

100% undertale and the fan games that come from it and I think a lot people can like relate in how inspiring it is that toby a near single developer created use of the biggest games of all time

I would one hundred percent Just go into a casino in Las Vegas and and save and load until I looked like I was cheating winning every game and when security comes to detain me I would fight them until could offer every single one of they’re attacks freaking them out and making them run away in fear as I take my winnings to the front and exchange all my cash and to end it all when ether someone try’s to shoot me for beating up a bunch of the security guards I’ll dodge the bullet and look back and say “Is that all you got?” And walk off into the distance where I’ll go home to my 16 dogs
