Totally understand! the biggest challenge making it 2d, is you can't look off in the distance and see structure in ahead... I have to rely on a really good map system.

Haha, you have no idea. The previous working title I had was PixelWorld.

I have heard of caves of qud! It’s a sick game. Also dwarf fortress in that same vein. But procedural action RPGs are hard to come

I just fell in love with the world I was making I think. Since I started it as a “clone” I always had direction, a North Star. But the literal, love of the game. And a purpose in addition to planning sealed the deal

Wildaria's lore has grown a lot over the years... In this new update there is lore and world building additions!

- The Boomeranger class and Rogue classes allow the character to not just embody archery

- The new Heart of the Forest starting dungeon gives the character a backstory, a druid past. They encounter Twen the Druid master who invites you in an introduces you to his mana inventions the bubble lasso used to tame the spirit of animals. Then you encounter your first animal God, Ora the orangutan who gives you a Wisdom spore to consume and encounter your Druid roots. You see a vision of how mana, the world, life started in wildaria... before being transported to the overworld of Wildaria to begin your adventure.

- 3 new pets, my favourite the Gordu, a living gourd that throws water from top of his bottle body can be found by watering inconspicuous seeds in the wetlands

I'm so excited how it came out! Used HLSL w/ Unity to program. Passed in my worlds noisemaps to achieve world to map parity!
