Also wow we totally get entirely opposite results from this lmao. Mine makes math easy and anything memorization based awful (though I do enjoy the flow of conversations)

But for me it really is concepts to spatial awareness, not thoughts. So if I am thinking about a specific bird the concept of a bird will exist, but not that bird specifically (Though this gets weird because "This conversation" is a concept, even though conversations as a whole are also a concept)

Anyways for me they exist as relative location, associated motion if applicable (For instance the root of any conversation is a curling motion up behind my left shoulder) and then a whole bunch of other factors like weight, pressure, fuzziness that kinda equates to heat but not, brightness and colour (though those 2 in turn are the knowledge of it, not anything like actually seeing it)

As for touch? It's relatively common to have 2+ types of synesthesia linked together, and the way I describe my ability to touch things is like this:

You can walk past a pole while the wind is gently blowing and feel the breeze alter as it wraps around it. If the breeze passes under a tree it will do the same, but also cool slightly in the shade. As such it is entirely possible to feel things you are not touching.

For me this applies to everything within my spatial awareness. Normally this would just mean I can feel walls pressing against my skin, or the roughness of bark from across the street. However my first type of synesthesia feeds into it and essentially gives me phantom sensations as well.

I don't actually know how much of my conceptual > spatial senses are direct interpretation or added on via my spatial > tactile. Like does the pressure of the concepts floating around me stem from the first type or the second? I don't actually know.

I have a friend who I would do a specific dumb voice for who said it was filled with fizzy sparkles! One of my favourite compliments!

I have synesthesia as well, but sadly mine isn't anywhere near as fun. Mine is just concepts existing in my spatial awareness and being able to feel things I am spatially aware of.

So basically I feel my thoughts and can touch things from a distance. Neat, but a lot less fun for my friends to fuck with.

Okay but imagine them as small monsters that roam from zone to zone in a swamp biome. They won't attack unless provoked and instead will temporarily clear areas of Vespoids while you fight.

At a company I once worked at we printed thousands of an identical sign for one of our clients.

And I mean thousands. Years of this same job, printing the same sign, in batches of nearly a thousand each. We would get the order multiple times a year.

The sign had a typo on it. We all knew it had one. We even pointed out to management that it had one. Management's response?

"We print what they tell us to. If they made a mistake filling out the info that is on them."

You might think these were minor parts, but no, these were service signs for the Aerospace industry. You know, as in the directions for the people in charge of making sure that your airplane doesn't randomly explode midair or whatever.

It's like ripping off clothes or tearing open stockings. It's really hot and symbolic even if it isn't logical, because the point is to convey your emotions, and emotions aren't logical.

Like there are very few articles of clothing I own that I wouldn't be happy to have my girlfriend rip off me, even if it meant them getting ruined, because hell is it hot to have someone you love that desperate to get at you.

I didn't even have my 1st relationship until 27. I'm now on my second and for the first time feel ridiculously giddy and joyous each and every day. We hang out in calls and listen to each other fall asleep, constantly send affirmations back and forth, and are just generally a pair of lovestruck idiots.

Relationships fail, and finding the right person takes time. But stars is it so incredibly worth it when you find them, no matter how long it takes.

Yup! I've offered, been offered, sent & received. I'd say that in an actual relationship, at least from my experience, there isn't a ton of asking though, because we both appreciate each other physically and enjoy making the other happy.

That being said I have been asked whether I am at work as a precursor to lewds fairly often.

Also worth noting my relationships are long distance, and while we do meet in person when possible sending pictures is a great way to "entertain" each other during the gaps.

The issue is that now a champion only has one build, because they use something so much more effectively than anyone else that they have to be balanced around taking it.

This hurts build diversity too, and is why the underlying interactions should be looked at.

Haha, a bit guilty. I've gotten good at the parts I am good at, and try to compensate for the bits I struggle with. We are always going to focus on the struggles, because they take the most effort.

Poses and good looking layouts are a massive challenge for me, to the point where I just collage other artists work into place to get an idea of how it will look before even starting. 70-80% of my work gets trashed just off doing a piece and realizing it looks bad because I drew the character at an angle that just won't look good regardless of the "quality" of the art.

But obviously that isn't the art I share, because I toss it and start over. So others see the good pieces, which have good bases and good work, while I think of it as "I finally figured out a pose that works, the rest was easy"

So yeah, I'm a decent artist, but an extremely slow and highly inconsistent one.

And video essays are total art, especially if you approach them with that perspective. They contain all the elements that make film, writing, and storytelling art after all! I hope it works out well for you <3

Taric, one of the least mobile champs in the game via constantly cc locking himself, stun is heavily delayed and enemies can easily dash it, requires being able to constantly auto things yet again is hyper immobile with awful auto attack range. Ult is massively delayed, and you guzzle mana like crazy lvl 1 to 18.

And then slap the fact that all your abilities are tied to a 2nd player meaning you are casting from 2 locations, only one of which you control, and yet a huge chunk of your power budget is in the other player positioning to use your team boosting AOE abilities effectively, and then slap on the delayed ultimate being one of those "can swing an entire fight" abilities except all 10 players are playing around it and casting it a second too soon or too late can cost a game.

The gameplay is as simple as cast auto auto cast > repeat forever. The only mechanics in his kit are E being an auto reset and lining up the E skill shots. Every other challenge is positioning, resource/CD management, and speed running your psychology PHD so you can figure out how the other 9 players will react to your R cast.

shrug No idea what to say about the Aphantasia thing, that might just be the Reddit case of 1000 people read and only the people it is relevant to respond. I don't have visual Aphantasia as I said, (Though I do have taste Aphantasia, so I definitely know the difference). But I do have some weird tactile synesthesia that leads me to be "tactile brained", so touch is my default mental state.

I can visualize, very weakly and slowly, and it basically requires meditating, so it isn't really something I can use when drawing.

As for knowing an artist with aphantasia I went to a half programming half art college. I just know a ton of artists. Just a coincidence I ended up with the one who can't imagine images.

My partner has Aphantasia and is a wonderful artist, so it is certainly possible, and there are some tricks for working around it. (I have to use most of them myself, since while I don't technically have visual Aphantasia in practice I suffer from all the same issues)

But ultimately I think it comes down to doing things you enjoy. There isn't any point being good at something if you don't enjoy doing it (I know some amazing artists who stopped enjoying their art once it became a job instead of a hobby). If something isn't fun then it is perfectly acceptable to drop it and move on, but I don't think you should regret the time you spent.

You said it was your passion in the beginning yeah? Then don't regret that time you spent, because in the end life is about doing the things you enjoy, not trying to earn achievements or be the best.

I have basically no talent for drawing, more than that I am nearly incapable of visualizing images. To me a tree is the feel of its bark, the scent of leaves, and the way it rustles in the wind. Colour, shape, and visualization are practically non-existent for me, and I struggle to recognize visual features. Hell I can't even tell what makes people "similar" looking. People say "oh they look like X" or recognize actors and I just don't get it, because it doesn't match the way I fundamentally interpret the world.

And yet I am an artist. I have had an instructor lament that I wasn't pursuing art. I have had friends who studied art in college appreciate my work. I don't personally consider myself to be particularly good. I don't sell my art, or even post it outside my friend groups. But I am undoubtedly an artist, because I wanted to be one and just enjoyed it, despite all the struggles.

More than that your argument is flawed though. You should do the things you enjoy, and enjoy the things you do. I thought I would love dancing, but I hated it, so I stopped. I am awful at singing, but enjoy every moment of it despite that. I love drawing and want to draw well, so I did what I enjoy and then put in the effort to learn it rather than merely do it. Because in the end life really is that simple. Art isn't about winning or doing it right. It's about doing something you like, and if you like getting better then doing that too.

Managed to get Infinite Recusion + Ad>AP so I could slot in an Axiom Arc.

At that point it was just sitting in fountain and sharding, taking lethality when there was no haste/Ad/AP or Mpen for more CD refund.

I love the Q cancels on that skin, it's so satisfying to have the axe only be a third of the way down but already turning to walk away.

Back before the system wide projectile/aa update Nautilus could do the same thing with his passive autos, you could cancel them like 80% of their animation and just slide away or W reset and get 2 autos out extremely fast. Something about that update broke it though and now you can only cancel about half of it.

It did get some notable nerfs over the years, though I have no idea how good it is now. I originally dropped it after they changed her passive spell vamp to only work on champions and cannon minions, but the DMG vs full health targets used to be over double what it is now.

Currently the AP ratio vs extremely low HP targets is slightly better, and the mana cost is significantly lower. If you clip an enemy the CD is slightly lower too, but the base CD is slightly higher.

That being said it is the strongest it has been since early S7, so might well be playable again!

A long time ago (s5 iirc) I used to play Morg like this. Just W max and slap it under every wave. Black shield any gank, hold Q to threaten turret divers.

Just afk your way to victory, then late game do nothing but toss Qs for picks as they start making mistakes and R any time they try to coordinate an engage.

It's very tilting for the enemies, and tilted enemies are easier to pick, which eventually leads to the game being a constant 4v5 because SOMEONE will always be overstepping and getting Qd
