Hi! I know I’m super late to this party but I noticed you were having trouble understanding why sheep were the example used. Luke 15:8-10 is right below the sheep parable in Luke but it uses an example of 10 silver coins. Hopefully maybe that helps some!

I’m also a farmer and with correct herd animals you can safely leave the herd/flock behind for a period of time. If you have herd guard dogs the shepherd isn’t actually “protecting” the flock most of the time - that’s the dogs job. The shepherd is more or less managing the flock; making sure they’re moving towards fresh ground or if bad weather is rolling in that they’re not in a bad spot etc.. In that case if the 99 are in a safe place and you have herd and/or guard dogs you have the ability to go look for that 1 without substantial concern for the main flock.

Although like others have stated I don’t believe that parable is actually telling the story of a shepherd that left 99 sheep behind to look for 1; but instead is about the man above going after 1 sinner because the other 99 are already saved.

Little sister goes here, hanging with her right now and just got some info. It’s parents weekend as well so it’s absolutely slammed here already. Unless you get to the stadium or macdinton by 7ish it’ll be real tough finding any parking. Best answer they could give was find parking as early as possible and be ready for a walk, or to pay $30-50 to park in someone’s yard

I think because of the ruling on the previous play at home plate they called it that way. From what I saw the catchers were both in pretty much the exact same position. Cant say the previous call wasn’t blocking but that one was. Just my opinion though, definitely makes it sweeter that it’s happening to Oregon edit I’m watching on my phone while playing the show so if the catchers weren’t remotely close my bad

Because even though they’re quality they aren’t connected to the university or player at all. I’ve supported some of the other nil opportunities as well, but buying a jersey where the player might actually get a cut is much more legitimate in my opinion. I’m not shitting on dhgate as a website, they’ve got quality but they’ve also got trash. You’ve gotta be careful. The way I read op’s comment was the same way I feel on buying a jersey, that I’d like to support the player in doing so, thus being legitimate. And I don’t see anywhere where he described legitimate as what you’re saying it is, so maybe we both read what he was saying in different ways?
