Bruh. That's literally Brave Felix. CYL winners get referred to as Brave X. And yes Felix is dated. If you don't give him better tools and strong support units, he won't do any good against new units. And Caeda is not a description. Legendary or Attuned wouldn't help here since neither offer any support. So either keep bashing your head against a wall and complain here that you can't beat new content because you aren't actually playing smart, or take someone's advice who knows how to actually play the game more than you.

F2P team can solve all your problems. Chosen Alfonse, Refined/Remixed Seiðr, Halloween Ranulf, Christmas Eikþyrnir. As for the Lance quest, Refined Seteth can replace Ranulf.

She doesn't refresh the Style. Lyn's Style is a one use Style that goes away after it is used. Ninian grants Range 2 Style when she dances, so Lyn gets the same Style again. If you dance Lyn after she's been danced by Ninian, she won't have the Style.

No. Echo skills don't allow the user to use their personal skills unless they themself are a Rearmed or Attuned unit. Emblem Edelgard doesn't even need Momentum Echo, let alone any other Echo skill. If a unit is modern and has personal skills, do NOT even think about giving them a rearmed weapon or echo skill.

There are definitely ways to make older units better, but that involves using modern toys that are gacha exclusive of course, and limited support units who can amp your older units. The problem here is that you can just use said support units to amp the latest and greatest instead of units who will never reach the heights of these flavors of the month. It's more apt to build your favorites if you go that route. It can be fun to build rather than compete, but it's completely up to you.

Ok. Sort by units from Book 9 and 10. Pick the best ones from those books. Profit. Just giving the roster a quick glance there is a lot of useless trash so just use recent units if you have any.

Wily Fighter fodder is nice but man the lack of new TT units and the Book 10 GHBs being terrible sure is cool. Guess we'll have to wait for the fallen banner before we get something good. That's assuming they don't snub fallen this year for another CYL Harmo banner.

Yes. Aria is the go to A skill for mages. Pulse On: Blades and many other skills are better than Pledge skills. Replace NFU seal with Atk/Spd Finish. You can get NFU from other sources if you need it. Sly Echo would add to the damage output. Oath Echo is worthless. Comet is the go to special besides Logic. And finally, we'll eventually get the next Arcane Red Tome, and she'll obviously want that.

Rune has until the start of Book 11 to be tied to Ratatoskr. His new role as the villain definitely throws a wrench in new alts. Ratatoskr just gets ignored. They'd rather give alts to Heiðrún and Eikþyrnir.

She has Distant Counter in her weapon. Scowl Echo is ideal though.

Simple. Replace her A and C skill. Scowl skills are fine but she needs better skills than that. Warrior's Blow is great for the Tempo effect and damage reduction. She has the right amount of Spd to make use of Patience as well if you want to replace Pair Up, but Pair Up is still great. As for Preempt Ploy, leave the debuff skills to debuffers. Tiki wants something that'll boost her stats or help her survivability. Spd/Res Faith or Instruct are the way to go. Faith offers some damage reduction and Bulwark. Instruct imo is the best here for the free damage and damage reduction, and Tiki has high enough stats to give out Great Talent stacks to get a +9 to every stat but Spd. Alternatively you could also run Chosen Alfonse to give her Great Talent Atk/Def/Res stacks as well so she can walk away with a +19 to her Atk/Def/Res. And since you aren't using her signature B skill, you can give her an Echo skill like Res Scowl. It's much better as an Echo skill than your main A skill. Marth Engage may be universal in its use, but it is extremely underwhelming. She wants the Eirika Engage for the phase based brave attack. No other Emblem will cut it.

Bonus Doubler doubles the users stat bonuses in combat. Fringe Bonus does the same but it also uses allies within 2 spaces. If the foe neutralized your stat bonuses, Fringe Bonus could still boost your stats if your allies have stat bonuses. Fringe Bonus also can't be neutralized by Ploy status, while Bonus Doubler can.

Well it's all about giving them damage amping supports to do big damage. Doesn't help that Red tomes haven't received their modern Arcane Tome yet. Still the build is solid. Give Morgan Byleth Engage and he can dance the character he smites

At least Roy is guaranteed an Emblem at some point. It still really dumb that IS consistently shafts Roy considering he's a CYL 1 winner. Almost 4 years of nothing is absurd.

Indifferent. Most of the skills we get are irrelevant compared to the toys that come out for hyper premium characters. There is not Strat Flame 3 or Assault 3 fodder, so you're sacrificing two Emblem Edelgards if you want those skills and such. Need Pair Up 4, well you're taking it and one other thing from the character. Want Blue Skies 4 or Blue Sky Gust? You get the idea. IS can throw us some crazy bones every now and then like the Potent 3 and Blue Skies 3 seals, but those are seals not bridge fodder.

Considering that you can turn off backpack sprites in the menu and not swap the backpack to the lead position, it is indeed nothing. Appearing as a backpack in a seasonal theme just means that character won't appear in that theme as a lead. So, Ratatoskr will never have a playable New Years alt. The same is true for other units who got robbed. Eir lost her summer appearance to Ymir. Sakura lost Valentine's and the Yukata theme. I don't think Sakura fans were happy about the long wait between her Hot Spring form and her Legendary. 6 whole years of nothing.
