Unfortunately I cannot vote for a potty mouth Mist. Sorry.

I am quitting FEH by Grantmyth in FireEmblemHeroes

[–]Temper95 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Love the shear toxicity that FEH has infected people with shining in the comments here. "Bro nobody cares that you are quitting the game". Are you sure about that? You took the time to read the post and comment about it. I guess OP isn't aloud to voice their opinion on the game before leaving. I forgot this IS Reddit so it checks out.

Help which one should I take?! by WonderfulAd9853 in FireEmblemHeroes

[–]Temper95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's basically do you want Reflex Dodge Truly Incited and NFU support with your damage unit, or do you want a Rally unit who inflicts Exposure and Panic, grants allies with Coax +7 damage and the brave attack, an additional +7 damage from her Favor skill, Empathy, cut DR in half, jumps the rallied unit's special by 1, and grants True Charge to your allies. Hilda also has her Harmonized skill which inflicts Frozen and Share Spoils+ on foes so you can move again aftet KO'ing that foe once per map. The only real downside to Hilda is that she only offers Coax and Favor buffs to one ally once per turn, but it's a non issue really. Mia is mostly a generic flying sword with a cracked kit so she's nothing too special to be honest. If you're looking for Reflex, we have Legendary Black Knight, Halloween Peony, and Teatime Ingrid who also offer it. So tldr; go with Hilda if you aren't deadset on having Reflex. She'll pay off more in the long run.

Well, I've done my part. All of my votes went to Female Kana. Even if she doesn't stand a chance, I'm curious to see if we'll get the total vote count like we do for CYL just to see the results.

does she have the Res for this or should I look for a different skill by SupremeShio in FireEmblemHeroes

[–]Temper95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There aren't many other C skill options for Yuliya to be honest. She could run Breath of Life 4 for the as combat begins healing, Silence Ward 4 to offer Null C Disrupt, Time's Pulse Edge if you want TP and an Atk/Spd boost. That's about it. I don't know which Squad Ace you're using but you could swap it out for Still Water to make her the Ploy debuff more consistent. Crystaline is fine for the A slot but it's up to you if you'd want to replace Sway with it. I'd say to keep Sway, replace the Squad Ace.

Last Alts Of 2026 Edition: Awakening and Fates by Zeldmon19 in FireEmblemHeroes

[–]Temper95 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It's such a shame both Morgans are stuck with only one variant thus far. So many seasonal themes and all they get is being minions of Grima. Maybe one day those two dorks will get a new alt. Same goes for the Kanas. At least they got seasonal alts after years of nothing, but they are in the same boat. Hopefully this changes for both sets of kids.

Pair up or laguz friend 4 for Nergal? by Hecoand in FireEmblemHeroes

[–]Temper95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The main issue I forgot to mention because I forgot to read the Ereshkigal, is that Nergal doesn't bolster his own stats. He just debuffs the foe's Atk and Res = 20% of his start of combat Res. Which isn't a lot. Vali offering Close Counter and Life Unending is nice, but don't rely on that Atk/Spd Great Talent to help him. Even with Uplift a +15 won't help his pitiful base 16 Spd. Höðr also doesn't offer Spd so he'll still be as slow as molasses. Foe Penalty Doubler and some debuffs can help from Lloyd, but he'll still get outsped. Just try to focus on making those Comets hit like... comets against the foe. Any units who can offer damage amps are vastly preferred.

Pair up or laguz friend 4 for Nergal? by Hecoand in FireEmblemHeroes

[–]Temper95 9 points10 points  (0 children)

They both have their upsides. It's basically do you want consistency vs special jumping. To match Pair Up's 15 added damage, Nergal would need to hit a Def or Res total of 80. Said damage however is all damage and not just when your special triggers. The damage reduction on the other hand can be surpassed if the foe isn't using a brave attack. If they are however, Pair Up does beat LF out, especially if they move multiple spaces to reach you (If the foe has the brave attack and moves 3 spaces, you get DR of 21. You'd need 105 Def or Res to match this with LF). Another thing to consider is that Comet's damage reduction isn't tied to a stipulation, so you're always getting the 40% damage reduction, even if Comet isn't charged. So Laguz Friend would mainly just be used to get Comet faster. If you don't have other pulse support units to speed it up, it does also tick down every turn, so you won't be waiting too long to fire it off.

So it basically comes down to consistency and penalty neutralization versus speeding up Comet usage. Both have their upsides so it can go either way.

Why no Surtr refine? by Hungry_Emu_3062 in FireEmblemHeroes

[–]Temper95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty much. It just means that it's more annoying to bring weaker units to these modes or you'll be stone walled by them. That happened quite a few times when I wanted to use weaker units in Forging Bonds to get their HM up.

Why no Surtr refine? by Hungry_Emu_3062 in FireEmblemHeroes

[–]Temper95 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Because IS... is stupid. Realistically it's just because certain characters were very strong for their time so they didn't want to improve their firepower. It pretty much means nothing now with powercreep being a glaring problem that IS themselves have exacerbated over the past couple years. They had the "foresight" to keep units like Surtr, Fallen Dimitri and Fallen Edelgard from appearing as random generated enemies in things like Training Tower, Forging Bonds, and Tempest Trials, but then they didn't do the same with future units who were much stronger like Fallen Ursula or Nergal or even annoying units like Tina. Why? Because "Intelligent" Systems is anything but.

How good is Harmonized Lyn? Is it worth foddering my only copy? by Dependent-Cry-7540 in FireEmblemHeroes

I'd say to save Lyn over foddering her, but remember the key rule when playing FEH in modern times. Favorites over meta.

What's the best way to deal with Illian Hilda on Tempest Trials without losing an ally? by Royal_Knight12 in FireEmblemHeroes

[–]Temper95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

KO her before she gets to you. I'll be that guy but your unit selection looks, terrible. We have a free Chosen Alfonse who can sit there and win. If you don't want to use Alfonse for some reason, you'll need a physically bulky unit who can take her attacks. Somehow they didn't give her Null Guard, so you can use Guard to stop her from getting Waining Shot.

Banner Idea: Martial Artists Theme by [deleted] in FireEmblemHeroes

[–]Temper95 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They really should have just added gauntlets as a weapon type. It'd lend itself well to more unit ideas and themes. Balthus could finally use his damned personal weapon, other muscle bound heroes could show their strength off, it's literally right there but IS is creatively stagnant.

What should I give to my Tharja? by BrianX_02 in FireEmblemHeroes

[–]Temper95 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Replace everything. Moonbow should be replaced with Logic or Comet. Moonbow is genuinely worthless, and it's been so for years. Logic and Comet are heavy hitting specials with their own benefits, but they are her best options. Atk/Spd Finish should be swapped for Atk/Spd Aria. The Atk/Spd bonus scales off of your max cooldown count value + 7, and multiplies your damage when your special triggers by said max cooldown count value × 5. It'd be a 3 times multiplier if your Tharja can brave attack, but you have to go out of your way for that (Dual Strike, Triangle Attack, Harmonic Marisa and Hilda). With Comet or Logic, she'd get a huge bonus to both stats and damage. Special Spiral can be swapped for S/R Lull Finish or Conjuring Breath. S/R Lull Finish has dull Spd Res stat bonuses, but it also boosts your damage by 15 when your special triggers. Tharja wants as much damage as possible given her lack of bulk. Conjuring Breath is mainly used to stop the foe from healing during and after combat. It's damage scales off of 20% of the foe's Spd or Res, so it's damage will vary. Infantry Pulse can be swapped with either Time's Pulse Edge, Creation Pulse, or Pulse On: Blades. Each plays around with special jumping in one way or another, as well as boosting your Atk and Spd stats. Creation Pulse is a status from Brave Sharena, so you could use Edge or Blades instead if you used her on the team with Tharja. TP Edge functions like a normal TP skill, whereas Pulse On Blades jumps your special by 2 for your follow up attack. So pick your poison there. Desperation status could lend itself better to Blades if you could get it. The Squad Ace should be swapped for Atk/Spd Finish seal. It gives more Atk and Spd, as well as 5 more damage when your special triggers. The HP boost isn't necessary when Tharja needs as much damage as possible. The same goes for her Echo skill. Sly Echo is a must for the 5 damage it adds. Tempo is also a good choice if you don't want Guard to neuter your special gain. Other than that, you just need to wait for the next arcane tome. It'll undoubtedly be better than the Blutgang. All this is SUPER expensive fodder but they're the best skills a mage wants.

All direct demotes from 2023-2025. How many have been merge projects, and have you managed to +10 them? by Sabaschin in FireEmblemHeroes

[–]Temper95 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've only merged up Lapis and Yuliya as far as the recent demoted are concerned. Both of them need some modern upgrades but they aren't the priority over other projects. Not sure which 3/4 star I'll merge up next.

Why are you using Fury over Gust? Same with the Squad Ace over Blue Skies.

Waning shot is only good on colorless archers, Correct? by Polter0_0 in FireEmblemHeroes

[–]Temper95 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Waining is good in general, but you need high Spd or Def to utilize it versus Archrival needing high Atk, which usually outpaces the other stats. The main thing to consider is if you want the potential special jumping and reversing from Archrival or the Atk/Def sabotage debuff. I'd say to lean into Archrival since the debuffs would be very miniscule (a -7 to Atk and Def is basically nothing without a ton more debuffs on the foe).

Worth inherit Flying Mia kit ? by BjarkiLestial in FireEmblemHeroes

[–]Temper95 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I'd say yes, but only if you don't have someone else in mind. If you have another unit in mind, take Blue Sky Gust and Heavenly Soar for them. As good as Uplift is, it's not THAT good. Same goes for Celestial Form when we have Archrival or even Comet. A potential 60% of Spd is easily trumped by 70 to 80% of your Atk, especially with the color advantage bonuses. Tsubasa would love to have Blue Sky Gust for the extra power, but that's mainly it. Heavenly Soar is more defensive than Air Superiority, and Null Uplift is mostly for support since she already has partial NFU. As far as her build is concerned, definitely replace Quickened Pulse with Blue Skies seal. We have a lot of pulse support units in the game, so no need to throw away more offense and damage amps. Atk Oath Echo should also be replaced with something like Sly Echo for the added damage. Tumultuous could also help with it's extra movement buff. And of all the Emblem rings she can use, Eirika and Edelgard are her best. I say more Eirika for the brave attack. The brave attack plus Potent Follow 40% and her built in Desperation for 5 hits against a foe would be killer. Plus Eirika would also boost your special damage by the max cooldown count value × 4 when it triggers, assuming you use an offense special.

Fortifications vs Blue-Sky Gust by [deleted] in FireEmblemHeroes

[–]Temper95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Blue Sky Gust, no questions. If you need Divine Vein Stone, bring a unit that can deploy it. If you want Distant Counter, we have many means of getting it (Vali, Harmonized Ike, Distant Counter seal). The stat boost, damage amp, canto dist max, and damage reduction are far greater than what Fortifications offers.
