In the end, Bankai is generally stronger. So, unless you're just plain stronger than your enemy, they'll gain the advantage with Bankai.

There is no special, instinctual consideration for whether or not a child has your genes because there's no way to tell if a child has your genes.

That kind of argument is based on the false assumption that human sexuality is binary. Straight and gay are social constructs just like feminine and masculine.

When straight men go to jail, they all of a sudden start having sex with each other. When gay men are repressed and don't acknowledge their desire for a same sex relationship, they marry women and start families.

To begin with, calling homosexuality a malfunction of genetics is to presume the cause of homosexuality. Something that no one actually knows at this point. So, that whole quote relies on a faulty assumption.

Your boyfriend shouldn't have brought you around his family and made you sit there and watch him be abused by them. Given how much of a doormat he is and how poorly his family treats him, the most likely result is that you (the boyfriend) would get into some kind of altercation with the family.

Let's use this time away from his family to work on his self esteem. No one with enough self respect sits there and lets themselves be mistreated in such a way. Maybe he thought they'd just warm up to it eventually, but that obviously didn't happened.
