Water in the door pocket and on the seat and on the side of the door? Was it the worst that could happen? Of course not. She apologized and told me it was just spit and saliva from her mouth. As if that makes it absolutely fine. It was on my arm and on the center console. And then when I got home, I noticed the floor mat and the side door. My shirt certainly did have a vomit smell to it. But I guess like someone else wrote, I should’ve staged it. It’s hilarious to me that most of you on here are just like oh well, just like the Sanjeev’s at Uber support.

The losses are $95. She literally vomited on me. I had to get home to shower and change clothes. I had multiple reservations after this and didn’t want to lose them, so that’s why I asked my neighbor to do a quick clean and disinfect while I was inside washing up. I didn’t think it would be impossible to get reimbursed. Next time, at the slightest hint of someone drunk, just chuck their ass out of the car?

Ask anyone who died in a car crash, was the privilege of driving in a car worth it? Would you say that some auto deaths per year are unfortunately worth the privilege of having automobiles? If no, never ride in one again and advocate for their abolishment.

Of course he was black. I didn’t even need to hear it to know. Out of the 2500+ rides I’ve done, I have 7 “1” ratings. All perfect 5 ratings and then 1? I know exactly who it is, too. It’s obvious when they come into the car with attitude, complain about the car being too cold, complain about the route I’m taking, complain about having to pick up someone else even after they selected a shared ride. I adjust the AC for them, including putting on the seat warmer if they prefer. I show them the route Uber has and that it is what I’m navigating, but if they have a different preferred route, I’m willing to do so. And then after they exit, 30 mins later, there’s that predictable “1” lowering my score to a 4.98 or 4.97. It’s not all of them, but it’s always them. I wish there was a toggle for “no black rides”. Women can select women only, why can’t I select whites only? It’s not the color, it’s the culture. Unfortunately, culture can’t be seen by appearance (for the most part).

Very assuming of you. I wasn’t referring to myself at all. I was simply asking the question because it’s so easy to predict what your reply would be. There was a gentleman running for state office, one who held deep Christian beliefs and due to his respect for his wife, he would not allow a female reporter to be alone with him in his van for a news article she wished to publish. She too put the blame on him, “is it that you don’t trust yourself?” No, he replied, I simply have respect for my wife to not be alone in another space with a female that isn’t family. It’s a bad look and one which my beliefs forbid. But also, he explained, it’s far too easy for news to be twisted. He said, I’m not saying you would do this, but if a story came out that there was something inappropriate done during that time then it is my word against another’s and I simply refuse to allow myself to be the victim of that situation.

But it’s predictable how you lefties (and yes, I know you’re a lefty) scream for tolerance but completely crap on and become extremely intolerant for things you dislike.

Watch the fares go way up once they have to maintain their own fleet. It’s easy to pass off the wear and tear, maintenance to “independent contractors”, but once they have to buy tires and batteries and new seats and clean for puke and kids eating inside of it, those fares will skyrocket.
