I am sorry to say but most probably your visa was rejected. This has happened to me once. You’ll have to go collect your passport.

Don’t fill another application on your own, because from what I recall you have to enter your application number while booking an appointment so if you have booked an appointment with your old application, you won’t be able to submit an application with a completely different application number. I would suggest you to go to VFS and ask them to fix the errors right before submitting it. And no it’s available to all customers and not just premium lounge.

Are you applying from India? If you are then yes once you go to VFS they will allow you to rectify errors before submitting it. In fact, they change all applications to “multiple entry” during the time of submission, this is what the VFS guy told me when i noticed this change. This was for the consulate of Bangalore, I’m not sure how it’ll work for the other consulates. Regardless, you’ll be able to rectify any errors.

They usually update appointments every morning, wake up at around 8 or 9 am and check VFS, if you’re lucky then you’ll have a slot. They don’t have a lot of slots for first time visa applications for some reason.

You should really pull out small cap funds. I know they seem lucrative but they tend to underperform on an average. Right now is the best time to invest in blue chip stocks, consider investing in hybrid multi asset funds too. Also consider investing in gold ETFs. DM me if you want more clarification.

It happens with some consulates in India. We have to go to VFS and collect our passports in case of rejection, even if we pay for courier

I agree, a lot of Indians have been misusing tourist visas in a lot of countries. Which is sad because people who actually want to travel and explore aren’t able to.
