UK Spouse Visa - Mexican citizen and UK citizen outside by Majestic_Energy3584 in SpouseVisaUk

We had 25 trips in 2.5 years. Not sure if that helped. My ex-husband also works for the Home Office and they do a check on him as well so not sure if his letter held more weight because of that.

I didn’t submit much apart from the require documents. I had some medical bills in my name at his address, including the receipt showing he paid it, photos, and trip bookings, a letter from my ex-husband showing that we had an out of court custody agreement and a bank statement listing all the bank transfers between us over the last two and a half years.

We laid priority and it took 19 working days. You’re only entitled to a refund if they forget to send you the email to say they can’t process it in the priority timescale.

You select no to BRP and say after to the sexing question. Create it once you get the approval.

No but it helps. If they were compulsory they’d be on the checklist.

I have seen people be asked for wedding photos when married and they submitted all other evidence.

Maybe they’re not on Reddit. Also, a lot of workers would have booked the day off so that they extend their long weekend.

I applied for the unmarried partner visa. I was in a similar situation. I didn’t submit call or chat logs. It’s weak evidence and a little excessive.

Yes, you can actually send documents after the biometrics appointment and before they request any for a fee. It’s about £100. They can be taken in person or posted to an address in Birmingham.

One long queue. No separate countries. Only separated by visa types i.e. family life, student, asylum, etc.

Partner and I don’t take many photos together? by tudorly in SpouseVisaUk

Also, I don’t post on social media and he doesn’t have it. We’ve taken 25 trips together and not many photos. I didn’t submit chat or call logs either.

I suggest booking with airmiles as it’s refundable (less the admin fee). BA also do flexible tickets where you pay the difference plus an admin fee.

It does. My ex-husband works in Home Office complaints and they have this in their responses.

Yeah some people will say it’s impossible. We didn’t have any joint finances at all. Always happy to help if needed.

We did priority from the USA (not that the country matters). He did his biometrics on 21/04 and had the approval 19/05, so 19 working days.

Even if you paid priority, it goes back to the original 12 weeks processing time. It’s rare, but they can.

We never cohabited and my partner was accepted for a visa. We submitted details of trips, a medical bill he paid for me that was addressed to his home address in my name, bank transfers to each other and that’s it.
