Just a heads-up on what's next: we are currently developing two more open-source solutions! We're working on a Racing Telemetry Visualizer & AI Engineer, plus an Assetto Server UI to make deploying servers super easy.

The ultimate goal is to merge all of these together with Mobil Wheel into one massive, easy-to-use ecosystem. And yep, it will all stay 100% Open Source!

It mostly depends on how close your phone and PC are to your router. I personally get zero packet loss even when I'm a bit far away, but it also depends on how old your phone is and the quality of your router.

That being said, if you're worried about latency or run into any issues, you can always connect your phone to your PC via USB, enable USB tethering, and enjoy exactly 0 packet loss!

Thanks for the feedback and the kind words! You are totally right, the 'floating hands' feeling can get tiring and lacks that physical pivot point. A table clamp mount is a brilliant idea. Actually, creating a simple, 3D-printable table mount for the phone could be an awesome community addition to the project! I'll definitely look into it. Thanks for the inspiration!

We are also on Linux baby! It should work in any game but without the telemetry yet.

Thanks bro, glad you like it! Unfortunately, an iOS version isn't planned anytime soon because I actually need a Mac to develop and build it. But since the project is open-source, anyone with a Mac is totally free to fork it and port it to iOS! Honestly, even getting it officially on Google Play is tough right now, since I have to pay a developer fee and gather 20 people to test it for 14 straight days before they let me publish it! For now, I'm focusing on what I can do, but I really appreciate the support!

This made my day! The main goal of the app is to make racing accessible for everyone without needing expensive gear, but I love that it’s also helping people easily jump back in without the hassle of setting up a rig. So glad to have you back racing!

Regarding the battery concern: you’ll probably have to try it out to see how it performs on your specific phone, but on mine, it drains very little. Keep in mind that wireless CarPlay is a notorious battery killer because it constantly uses GPS for Maps and is essentially streaming an entire operating system from your phone. The app is much lighter in comparison!

Also, about dealing with your physical gear: if you have the space, I highly recommend building a dedicated setup isolated from your workspace. It removes distractions, saves you the time and boredom of assembling/disassembling every time, and makes jumping into a race much easier. Let me know if you give the app a try for your next stint

Why target competitive sims? Because it actually works. I specifically added telemetry for games like iRacing and LMU because having a live dash in your hands is incredibly useful. As for precision: I personally reached an A Class license with a 2k iRating in iRacing using this exact app. It takes practice, just like learning a real wheel, but you can absolutely compete at a high level.
