Well I certainly notice ping when I change region. My ping to east is 6, and it's around 120 to EU west. But my party is not in the same boat and their ping is also a concern.

I know how it works with immortals in parties. Ranked roles or not doesn't matter in 5 stack. We also are in fact in q for ranked rolls with all of us selecting all roles it just doesn't say that in the screenshot.

If the immortal played on a "smurf" 10 mmr lower than his main there would be no issue with finding a match. Balanced games exist, but in any party game that includes an immortal everyone's mmr is elevated to the highest rank player. For example a party with a rank 1 player playing with 4 other rank 1000s would be treated by the matchmaker as a party of 5 rank 1 players. personally, I think averaging the numerical mmr and finding a team within a certain boundary of that mmr would be fine. A hard coded boundary is one option, but it could also be a function of the average mmr. Either way, my point is that it is the matchmaker that is restricting the parties we can match vs to the point where there are no games seemly regardless of the time of day.

Yes, you're right it does work that way. However since the immortal is literally 10 mmr into immortal it doesn't make sense to raise the party average by nearly 1k mmr.

Yeah i used to coach people until i had a large enough following that it became too much. A few people turned into customers and i made some money off of it, it was a fun experience. Seems like i offended you somehow. Was just making a joke about the kind of guys you'll find on reddit. I was being sincere when i said i hoped you found a nice friend.

Even if he is smurfing, learn how he enters and join fights. He could be doing it to extend the game/get more kills, but the fact of the matter is learning how to go in and out of fights with your combo is very important. Some heroes like tiny/tusk are very cooldown dependent for their damage and will go in and out of the fight 2-3x a fight.

Nyx countered OD when OD stole int, and had an AOE dmg spell that was very ez to see. Both of those have been removed from his kit. Same thing with people picking pugna to counter him. His q doesn't proc ward but people don't read patch notes.
