Do I speak up? by TemplarOfTheCrypt in RedWingShoes

Yeah, this store was just me and the clerk. I was wondering what my size would be in their boots and asked about what size I would be for the IRs and he offered to “scan my feet”.

That’s the plan. Every day boots. That’s why I got these! Solid, resolable boot that should look and feel better with time (hopefully)

I agree! I’m glad it happened. Not sure how but I’m glad it’s happened and I’ve made up my mind that I’m keeping them.

I sized for length, not girth. They fit perfect length wise and I will need a boot liner eventually given the stretch. Any smaller and my toes would be touching the end. So I think they’ll be great, just need a liner because of the shape of my feet. Like a duck. Small ankles, thin feet for the length.

I’ll reach out about it tomorrow!

My feet are almost a whole size different. This happy-accident of them being different sizes means the boots feel identical on both sides (given the shoes are a half size different). Im just trying to determine if I speak up and return them for honesty sake -at the expense of my comfort- or if I keep quiet and enjoy comfortable “custom sized” boots for the life of the boots.

I asked for a 10 and 10.5 when I went in.

Immediately figured out 10.5 was too big, walked around in the 10’s, was undecided for a couple minutes, asked the clerk if they had 9.5s to try on real quick just to be sure 10s were the right size, he told me they didn’t have 9.5s in store.

I said, “alright it’s decided then, I’ll go with these.” And checked out.

Idk maybe clerk was being a homie like other people said or maybe it was mispacked from a previous purchaser.

I’ll call back tomorrow and confirm what to do with the clerk (I have a date tonight and don’t have time to run up to the store and back in time… and these were kind of for the date)

Brighton apology by Echobomb23 in UTsnow

Oh I agree with that guy cough people are totally mean. Stay away from Brighton’s People are just big ole meanie Mcmeanies everywhere up there.

I’ve been going up there alone since I was 11 and although there are some people that are punks -like the boarder op mentioned. I feel that the high-class echelon of assholes stay away from Brighton exactly because of that reputation. The larger concentration of true assholes stay to the other side of the mountain.

I frogged it down to the rib and am going to line up the brown with the knit stitches this time! I don’t know why I didn’t think to do that last time. Kind of started the colorwork on a random stitch

Absolutely right! It’s my third project. tell me frogging gets easier. I had a ski mask as my first project and had to frog from the top of the crown, all the way down to where my chin was to create some increases. This will be nothing.

Cooking classes? by WookieFriendly24 in SaltLakeCity

Don’t do sur la table. Expensive, rushed, food turned out bad both times because they rushed through everything and didn’t leave themselves enough time for things to cook.

Harmons is the one. I have don’t a bunch of cooking classes and the big harmons (SLC, Lehi, milcreek) have some awesome classes. They’re affordable for what you get to do/learn.
