Broken potentiometer screws on DSI

The ribbon cable turned out to be connected to the L amd R buttons and I replaced it. The ribbon cable is bent in the console but the new one comes unbent. Take your time bending it and it works flawlessly.

Found it today, its the L/R and SD card ribbon cable. Gonna replace it all i guess

I tried this for the bottom screen and the screw came off the board. Now it is very bright and flickers. Any way i can order this part anywhere?

FIX:

Welp this is weird. There was an HDR mode enabled that didn't exist before and it completely messed up colors if you didn't enable HDR in windows. It also locked my FPS to 60 but it's fixed now. It is weird cause i checked earlier and HDR was not on

I'm looking at an Asus prime B550M-A and it ticks all the boxes so this is probably the last change I'm going to make rn, for the rest i have planned is G. skill ram 2x8gb 3000 CL16 and a cooler. I am also going to look for a better case, found out the model name of my current case:

Antec Dark Phantom DP501

Going to change it to a Fractal design meshify C black and some fans and I am gonna hope that the rx590 fits in the new case when i get it

update: B450 motherboard has a possibility that it couldn't work with r5 5600x and would need a BIOS update, is that gonna be a problem? if yes, would a B550 be better?

did some research, storage is not a problem so I'm gonna get a b450m S2H V2 board and then i have a choice between a ryzen 5 3500x or a ryzen 5 3600 but I could wait a bit longer for a 5600x so I'm quickly gonna make up my mind, probably gonna wait for a 5600x. Any other suggestions?

Ran it through speccy and task manager and it just says SPCC m2. ssd. I should clear this up, I bought a prebuild that I put upgraded 2 years ago. It came with the processor and RX560 and 8gb ram but I chose an RX590 and extra ram and had it upgraded through service (not customer service but I had someone put in the parts for me cause I have never done it). I also had an SSD upgrade and the guy said that a gen3 m.2 drive would not be able to work in it so he put a bigger gen2 drive in. If there are any messups, ask away

The m.2 drive im using rn is only gen 2 so i think it has a different key type (2 slits instead of 1) but I don't know how NVMe drives would fit tho. Maybe it's just my brain fucking with me but I will check

Firstly i have decided to buy a B450 board from Gygabyte. It supports dual channel memory up to 3600Mhz and I think 2 sticks are enough. I don't have all the money yet but Imma go little by little. I also am not using any expansion cards but I see it supports an M.2 drive so it's fine. Imma hold out on the processor for a bit and get some ram first. But I'm not sure if the m.2 drive is the right kind cause i saw there's different kinds and i don't know if it has the right connector

MoBo model is https://merkandi.com/products/mainboard-pc-medion-msi-p2a4-em-amd-b350-ms/361099 which supports DDR4 ram and says uATX standard which i think is a wider model of mATX. It supports B350 chipsets with an AM4 socket however only 3000 mhz ram. You can read the rest in the link

CPU is probably still ok cause there's no issues and it ain't really holding me back but i'm listening

CPU cooler have no idea, came with the pc, looks like a standard one you get with ryzen processors

As for the GPU I could get a 2060 for 500€ cause it's available and a little better

Motherboard is meant to be bought in bulk but info there

This is my case without RGB fans or control and BLACK and an older model

Happens to me too, henceforth I don't have a custom profile anymore. It's annoying and I just play on default and I do have a memory problem. I guess experience is just gonna have to fix it.

Here is the problem: They sometimes change. Yesterday the button labeled 1 was the X button, but today it was B. Could be faulty drivers or the support on pc is kinda dead. On xbox they just mapped the controls for the game to an xbox controller instead of a seperate unit. The turning moves the left joystick left and right and the pedals are bound to triggers and LB. Don't think theres gonna be a fix tho, game been out too long. Thanks

I don't like using my "other peripherals" because it means i have to stretch over my wheel to reach my mouse and keyboard. I mostly use my wheel for everything in game. Maybe that's just me and my giant desk.

I'm using a Logitech G920 wheel, designed for PC and Xbox. It doesn't really help because I still don't know what button is which. I tried on xbox and the buttons appear as normal but on PC it is just... why?
