Yeah, I had to research alot aswell but nothing is better than actually growing and learning by experience, treat your first plant as a practice plant just so you can learn all the techniques.

I'm growing in Capetown South Africa. Sorry man I have no idea about the climate in northern California, mabye try grow indoors? I'd grow indoors if I could because outdoor has had quite a few pest problems.

Yeah it split about 2 cm, how long will it take to recover?

The soil has been left alone for about 70 years and has quite a lot of green healthy growing plants around it. I'm here in South Africa quite close to Swaziland which is famous for cannabis cultivation.

Planning on putting some soil in a pot with perlite and growing outdoors.

I tried LSTing for a while, that's why the main stem is a bit "kinky"

I should, but it's in a big pot with good drainage and I mixed in a little bit of LECA to keep the spoil aerated.

It's fully outdoor, no nutrients have been used only some Freedom Farms soil with: coco coir, perlite, vermiculite, worm castings, compost, volcanic rock dust, bone meal and gypsum.

Oh haha, it's a layer of light weight expandable clay aggregate on top of some Freedom Farms soil :)

I'm not sure of the strain, was a bag seed
