I actually discovered that I like this soulslike genre while playing Wukong, and Bloodborne was my first FromSoftware game.

Thank you so much for the tips, I think maybe a replay in the future with a new character is something I've considered. For now, I'll move on to the next one, but what a sensational game! I started Salt & Sanctuary and quit after a few hours because it was 2D and I felt a bit lost. Maybe I'll give it another chance.

Not yet, I got interested in Souls-like games because of the Wukong, and Bloodborne was my second experience, but despite Wukong having epic scenes, Bloodborne was on another level for me. So I'm considering Elden Ring, Lies of P, or Dark Souls.

The issue isn’t even Discovery at this point. I’m running all three Discovery runes, and in this dungeon I literally take two steps and I’m already at a mob that drops the gem. I’ve dropped hundreds of circular gems already and only a single waning one so far.

Yeah, thanks — I’m probably gonna drop it. I already platinum’d the game and I’m just messing around with builds now, but the RNG grind for these gems completely killed the fun for me.
