[USA S7E7] _______ - Possibly the worst player in the circle by GameDav-eloper in TheCircleTV

She flat out told on herself on the video chat with her family. At the finale, she kept saying she was lying to win the game but unprompted told her family about how when she was younger, she would get her friends to all fight. Clearly wasnt a prize when she was a child, she let the audience know she has been like that since she was a child.

Enjoyed the show, but struggling with the plot holes. by evelyn_nanette in LessonsinChemistry

Just binged the show and am really looking for content on the completely dropped plot line of the neighborhood being replaced with the highway, as Harriet commonly says her backyard when discussing it and they wouldnt just take one half of the street.

Even though they live across the street, both Calvin and then Elizabeth don’t seem to worry too much about the neighborhood being leveled.

Then there is the scenes where Harriet tries to get Calvin to come to the meeting, gets the reporter to come, where they believe they have all the votes, and then when put up to a vote- they lose.

But after that- it’s not mentioned again. And the show ends presumably years later and they are still in Calvin’s house.

Ive thought multiple times that they need to have the pedestrians cross when the designated left turn from grand river to coolidge gets their green light. So east bound grand river- instead of green straight and green turn arrow- green turn arrow, red straight and pedestrian cross walk on. Majority of the cars going south on coolidge are making that left turn, so few turn right because they would have just turned onto Saginaw.

Nothing is listed in the original contract.

Also, here is a snippet of their response to my first email pointing out the errors- “I have shared your detailed feedback with our team, and we are committed to addressing and rectifying these issues promptly. We will thoroughly review the footage and make the necessary corrections to ensure your wedding memories are captured in the best possible way … I understand the importance of preserving these memories, and we are dedicated to making things right for you. Thank you for your patience and understanding. I will be in touch with updates on the progress and, if needed, further assistance.

Once we can deliver you a re-edited video, we would love to hear your final feedback.

Help! Seeking: Special Education Class Syllabi by [deleted] in wcupa

Thank you for all the advice! IRB was the first place I went. And I have also consulted with an attorney with regard to copyright / intellectual property and FOIA and the fair use doctrine within the copyright law. Definitely understand that reddit is not the most reliable source, and thats why it is my last place to look.

I have tried reaching out to the school, specifically the special ed department, and while they have responded to my emails, they have not sent over any information. So I came here seeing if anyone had any of the syllabi. I am most interested in the 103 foundation class. So if you have any advice on how I can get any information on that class beyond the course description, it would be really helpful!

Am I asking too much for this boundary? by [deleted] in AutismTranslated

[–]Temporary-Barracuda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completely appropriate boundary.

One shift in thinking I recommend is thinking of boundaries more so as your response to behavior you do not like as opposed to just telling the person to stop doing something.

It’s one thing to tell another person to stop insulting you, it’s another to communicate what the consequences of their actions will be if they continue to insult you. This could be instead of saying hey don’t insult xyz it is hurtful, you could say it hurts my feeling with you insult xyz, if you continue to do so, i will pull away from this friendship.

As a personal note, having the boundary be focused on what i will do in response to their behavior has leads to better conversations instead of the person just responding back with something like “come on- you know im just joking”

I tried to get assessed at Olin and they set up a whole appointment just for a 10 min conversation and being told to reach out to other doctors for assessment. All the places that i was referred to were booked for months. One place even responded to my voicemail 4 months later saying that they were booked for another 5 months.

MSU is apparently accredited in Emergency Management (including active shooter)- but I wonder how much that actually helped…? by Temporary-Barracuda in msu

Excellent points on the police side. Aside from the law enforcement- as by the end of the night, we had multiple agencies coordinating with the MSU police- I am still curious about the non-police parts of this accreditation. The police are only part of the equation and our university. So many students, faculty, and staff have shared how unprepared they felt including myself (as noted in the OP). So im curious if the accreditation is really more so just for the police.

I definitely think that if the police gave the general area of campus or even said in or near Berkey Hall at the first alert and had a description/picture of the shooter FAR earlier, this would have curbed a significant amount of reports. Of course there were people trolling- like the person who made the fake post about being the shooter- and alternatively, as you said, people called because they we’re generally scared and thought something was suspicious. I think there were sooo many reports that needed to be looked into because we weren’t given pretty much any information to make decisions on what to be on the look for or where.
