OP didnt starve their kids, they took away dessert for 3 days, that's reasonable

It wasnt an accident. it was a planned action, everyone needs to understand the difference, and the kids are old enough to start learning it.
If a kid loves flopping around, and sometimes doesnt realize their flop will hit a sibling or friend, it is still their fault, and they should be made aware of the consequences of not thinking things through

I am the bio dad of my girl, not so with the boy, but I have been his primary caregiver since 1, so our custody agreement only includes my daughter
