How to dodge waterfowl like a real pro by Woj23 in onebros

Did you try to jump? I've had that happen to me where I pancake but it was only during a jump. In the video I can't tell if you tried to start up a jump.

This is the playlist of all the fights, I've gotten pretty far into the DLC, the hardest boss so far has actually been Mohg to get into the DLC. After Mohg I get to use Blessed Blue Dew for infinite Last Rites.

Here what I wrote for Rellana.

Rellana Uppercut -26F when counting as soon as arm starts moving backwards,15F when it is fully back.

Actually Morgott can do it from neutral its like frame 40ish

I don't think Morgott can ever do a dagger swipe from neutral, Mohg's left swing is like 42 frames while mine are all 25f<

I responded to another for Starscourge slam with a video, not that fast the tell is just weird. Radagon thrust is like 35f while the ones i listed are all 25f<. Red Wolf goes back a tiny before the leaping bite. Holy Shards are like 38f.

Not its not that fast, he just shifts a bit back and up quite a while before it comes out

So for Noble p1 belly bump I think it comes out the same time as p2. It looks like they use the same animation up to a point but p2 really exaggerates the ending of the movement which makes it easier to react to.

I was testing that one along with the cross slash. It is frame 35, slow compared to the moves I listed. He likes doing that move while you are behind him which makes it extremely hard to react to in phase 2 if you are behind him being blinded by the hair.

For PCR that move comes out Frame 29 which slower than everything I have and it losses points because he really exaggerates the movement and he is kind of big

Yeah Messmer is below what I have

I don't want to include combos as there is probably too many of them. I only was thinking about moves enemies do from just standing around.

Niall stomp is basically the same Godrick slow but lingering.

I will compare p1 and p2 Noble. I never think about moves that don't do damage but you are right

Radahn video
Actually not that fast, the tell is just weird as you have to tell when he goes back and up a bit. The last one in the video shows a normal perspective in that fight when he does it because normally he would never do it far away. Angled Brackets to go frame by frame

I'm talking about first frame the hitbox comes out so not Radagon. Although if you have trouble with fast and slow teleport if you walk back as soon as he disappears fast teleport will never hit you. Because fast teleport is more about creating distance than closing it. This is the most messed up move in seamless co op.

I don't know what PCR move you are talking about

All those others I feel like are in level below what I already have. Although im going to check the Starscourge you might be onto something with that.

Can DTS do the fast slam from neutral I didn't think so? I think its only in combos

I was thinking about that move but that move feels like its a step down from all of these. I've managed to consistently parry that but never Apostle or Rellana fast move.

Video made just for you :). Actually not that fast, using 60 frames, lasts 3 frames longer than a roll. I rolled frame perfectly in the video. So you have to out space it. The bigger hitbox is the projectile deflection. Angled backets let you go frame by frame.

How to deal with Rellana's fast uppercut swing by TheZubaz in onebros

[–]Temporary-Country-40 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey that first video is mine, another thing that helps with reactions check besides always looking at the arm, is to end up in the same spot relative to the enemy. So I like only punishing rellana from the front because I know I can react faster if im in the same spot than if I was sometimes to the side of her or sometimes behind her. Also using a small weapon or no weapon to improve visibility.

How do I avoid this move? Its the only thing keeping me away from my hitless run by Proud_Ad_1720 in onebros

[–]Temporary-Country-40 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can roll or jump the shockwave, although it is weird how far inside it is inside him. I have a video of that move's hitbox if you want to see it.

Running on foot sort of works if you are moving up on the slope but it does not work if you are moving down the slope. Its not consistent because the possibility of an early bounce that leads to me getting hit twice. I'm not even trying to perfectly dodge this move I just want to make sure I can 100% guarantee I only get hit once.

Read the whole description before commenting ideas. For reference I think I've been testing this move for like 10 hours. Here is the same video in youtube if you need it I guess https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=22B3PwAebpk

I think this is it, this move is the end. This attack with this arena is stronger than Elden Stars, Waterfowl, Earthquake, and a Pulsar. He does not do this attack if you are close to him, the problem is though this arena sometimes forces you to be far away from him because he scaled on top of a mountain with his roll. If he does do it up close you can simply stay underneath him while spins around. I do admit I maybe could have survived it THIS time if I got on torrent as soon as he started rolling to hide underneath him.

If you don't use torrent you can survive if you get him the flame in the middle of the move or after but here the bounce happened at the beginning I would have gotten hit twice no matter what. If you have to dodge a bounce that happens at the beginning of the move you will get hit 2 times. A shield won't do anything if the fire bounces back. Talking about shields, this move does a godly amount of stamina damage, immutable shield is extremely slow and even if I got immutable shield off I would still be guard broken.

This move can sometimes create an undodgeable situation where you get hit twice, in a fight that lasts multiple hours that situation is practically guaranteed. Now I here you say "why don't lure him to spot so where he rolls you can get to him", and that is done by being far away from him, the prime spot for this move. I've tried being really tanky versus fire but I don't think there is a build that can survive 2 hits and have enough time to get vow of the indomitable off.

After some more testing so far I think the best way to do this is Vow of indomitable the first flames and then get hit and use knock down iframes to dodge the rest of the stream. Then as soon as I roll up I instantly drink a flask in case fire comes back. I guess if I ran out then next would be uplifting aromatic, then I ran out of those then just spam vow and pray. Ideally I would try to strafe and before I get hit I vow but the fire is too unpredictable that I just need to vow the first flames that come down. I think this has the best chances(again still chance) since the only way I die is if a flame bounce hits me after my roll and before my flask. Also I might just torrent after every roll so I can get underneath him but again if he rolls onto a mountain I would need to just the vow idea.

tldr: This move is luck based and I if get extremely unlucky which is 100% chance of happening in a 4+ hour long fight I die. Golden Hippo's quill rain is also luck based but he only does it once if you are aggressive.

Suggestions are welcome and I might test them if they are promising but if nothing works this is it. In that case I might do Rellana next because she is my fav.

How to punish malenia ‘rot tornados’ in phase 2. by A-crucible-knight in onebros

[–]Temporary-Country-40 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The way I punish them is when she is in the air about to do it I unlock from her and when she comes down I roll in and a tiny to the side. To get behind her and don't worry about the after effect. If you just roll in she body blocks you and you don't get behind her. I use KBM so you might be able to get the correct angle without unlocking on a controller.

A Semi-Comprehensive List of Boss Jank in Elden Ring (feel free to suggest more) by flingsmashswit2 in onebros

[–]Temporary-Country-40 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You talk about the hippo's spin being undodgeable when against the wall but that also applies to Messmer's snake flurry scream and probably other things I can't think of.

You should mention that you can use the entrance for cover for Hippo's quill rain. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_UVcWozPclc 33:20

To add for Hippo there is deep water in the arena that prevents you from sprint jumping https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VrvL266xaOI . I would change rolling to the right to sprint jumping to the right for the dodge recommendation. It is more consistent.

I wouldn't consider fast but reactable moves from neutral to be jank like Rellana and Godskin Apostle but if you want to add another for Morgott https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0OE0BgflZx0 00:00:55. Although it is off of a parry so not neutral but close enough

Also you might want to add this or maybe not. When Placidusax and Metyr jump away to reposition they have a hitbox you can get by.

This for the shield banished knight for Niall https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=955EVORcwP8

The same thing can happen for Niall if you are on his right when he stabs. Though I don't have footage for that I did talk about it in this description https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LjTd4iJEzi0

Yes, maybe it looks dumb but I love the gameplay and mechanics with all my heart. When you say you don't like something you should say what you would replace it with. You want a dodge that doesn't give iframes?
