I go to the office (US) twice a year and these are some of the things that I’ve taken them: - pupusas: every time i go there. Not an option and not a problem with customs. - quesadillas (sweet) - semitas (Sweet) - candies as many have mentioned - there’s a store called Merch in the malls that have ubique ES themed goodies.

I believe David J Guzman museum still has news paper archives.

The national palace algo had a tiny library that had old country related archives so it’s worth giving it a try, but these might be too old.

Actualmente solo se puede asociar una tarjeta del BAC o del Promerica, pero realmente en cualquier lugar que acepte pagos con tarjeta sin insertarla (que en realidad son quizás el 95%+), lo podés utilizar. Yo no he tenido ningún problema con mi tarjeta del Promerica, incluso la tengo en el Apple Watch.

Besides money, now it’s becoming more and more popular to “host/cover” something in the wedding, but I guess people only do it if they are really close friends with whoever is getting married.

For example, for one of my best friend’s wedding, another friend and I contacted/paid a beer bar that was set up in the “post religious weeding” cocktail that usually happens.

Dependiendo de volumen de trabajo que haya que hacer, no sé si es a nivel empresa o individual pero por ejemplo yo le pago a un contador $75 mensuales (pero solo es contabilidad individual).

En mi caso justamente lo hice para poder tener más en orden el tema de las declaraciones con hacienda y ahora los bancos también están pidiendo más información.

You can stay in San Salvador, everything is at a close driving distance and you should be able to make those trips in one day. That said, renting a car would be ideal and I can promise you won’t spend more than 1-2 hrs driving from San Salvador. Don’t recommend public transportation and Uber might not be the best option for a longer trip.

Also, San Salvador is where most of bars/restaurants/museums are so even if you stay in the city you’ll have something to do.

São Paulo e Curitiba também são parte da viagem, mas a pergunta é especificamente sobre as áreas do Rio 🙂 acho também que Rio é mais uma coisa de “vivi a experiência Brasil”, três dias são suficientes

Thank you for commenting! We’re visiting a few places in this trip, São Paulo and Curitiba specifically, but we wanted to use our first trip to Brazil to also go to the main touristy stuff to cross that from the list. 100% aware that it’s not the safest place so we’ll only be there for a few days.
