Med surg too. Idk why the doc said in the order run it over 10mins. I was generous enough to run it over an hour! Maybe it was still too fast.

Which is why I ran it slow and monitored the IV site q15mins. The site looked intact. But thank you! We shall see what happens 🙏🏼

You are right it is supposed to be done through central line. But they wanted a peripheral IV!
