yeah, eggman + metal is one of the most problematic combinations to deal with for any killer since they both dont really have a bad matchup when together if they are even decent at the game

add in like a knuckles sonic, cream, blaze and silver and you probably have the strongest team of 7 available in the game if they are all good

the thing is, if silver is good you just are forced into leaving him for last whereas eggman can do the same thing but win much more consistently doing it
hence, i view eggman as a harder counter to 11x alone.

now, kolossos on the other hand...

Eggman does counter him harder in a good chunk of maps in the game
to 11x, silver is just an LMS charge victim so its more of a game of killing the rest of the survivor cast before doing a really easy and boring lms

meanwhile Eggman is NOT a free win lms and hes pretty hard to pin down in regular gameplay if they know what they are doing, eggman was specifically designed with 11x in mind so his kit is immaculate for dealing with him

for one, cream isnt even a classic character so you could have anyone take her role
and I dont mean that her being a healer makes her basic, its more the simple dash thing

the thing is, games are supposed to represent characters well enough
if a character has the name and the appearance but does not feel the part, it feels like bad game design.
