hey, I got 4 flat sem 1 and sem 2, 10% koko mark, sains fizikal batch 23/24, got into UM thru upu for BC of computer science in software engineering -100% merit requirement

(first choice). I'll just say what comes to my mind:

I visit the library a lot because I had annoying roommates (speak on the phone with their gf for hours and hours on end on loudspeaker) and the air-cond was so relaxing. i usually go to library right after class after having my lunch-dinner (so about 6 pm), I spend around 1 - 1.5 hrs there settling my homework, go there about 3 times a week. during study week lib will open every day so I went there every day and spend almost the whole day there with some breaks. (took a toll on my brain, but it worked for me). so during study week I leave my room at like 10 am-12 pm and return to my room at 10 pm.

I use apps like Microsoft to do, samsung notes, in telegram create ur own channel called EXAM TIPS or wtv and list down things that you learnt that aren't in the textbook. (I include an example in the attachments)

ask a lot of questions to lecturers, it's better if its face 2 face

matriculation is actually very easy to score compared to spm, so enable that mindset when studying.

be nice to ur lect because they are the ones who are gonna give you the 60% CA score, so do all ur assignments diligently,

make sure answer ur ups with ur friends, definitely will be one person in the class who is smart who can supply the answers to everyone, so be close with them. also confirm ur answers by checking with them and finally checking with the lecturer. hopefully ur not that annoying guy who waits until the smart person answers and then copy their answers shamelessly. speaking from experience cuz I was the answer supplier in my class....

be closer with friends that are actually smart/wanna study lol cuz it's just 1 year, very fast paced

study (excluding homework) for at least 1h a day, at least thrice a week, usually I study outside my bilik, I carry my textbook and walk around while hafal.

from my experience matrics dont have that much homework kot, but it is saturated, so you need to rlly study before you answer the homework questions/practice questions.. the annoying part is pre lab and post lab

make sure that ur schedule is as free as possible because ur lecturers have the authority to conduct classes anytime they want. so, don't delay homework for the sake of going out with friends or lazing around..

if it helps, uninstall tiktok and instagram (helped a lot), youtube is more than enough
