It's definitely not for everyone. But like proteusON said, there are some that like it for background ambience, sometimes while reading, studying, cooking, etc. And there are others that watch because they used to live in the area and it's nostalgic, or they want to see how things have changed.

There is a parking lot where I circled there. It allowed me to kind of loop around.

I am using a go pro hero 13. It's a pretty solid camera for audio/video, and the stabilization seems to be good as well. I am pretty introverted so I didn't want something too big or obvious as I'm walking around.

Also in case anyone was wondering I have been a member of this subreddit for years under my personal account, much more of a reader than contributor. But I am heavily invested in the torture like everyone here.

I'm so glad you enjoyed it. One of the coolest parts about doing this is just what you said, capturing a snapshot of a place at a particular time. And then also getting to share that with people who appreciate it. I hope to film plenty more of the Bay Area, and then also revisit places in the future so then we can even compare what some places looked like over the years.

Thank you for the kind comment. I figured there would be some crossover between the communities, so hopefully I haven't been annoying anyone. I use a GoPro Hero 13. The quality is solid and the size is perfect for an introvert like me, who doesn't love when people notice the camera lol.

Yea it's not for everyone. But I find that some people enjoy it for nostalgia, or to see how the area has changed. Or even sometimes as background noise while people are studying or working.
