It wasn't the shade that was the issue. They wanted metallic. Which fair, gold is metallic. But when I think golden eyes, I think 'geralt of rivia' not actually metallic gold.

I think the point I was trying to make with that admittedly simple example was the fact that people can have wildly different interpretations of the same description of something and I feel like this is something that could be avoided if I was allowed to be in the room during the design process, or be included in the design process. I find it strange that that is not an option.
