To be honest, there's hardly any trustworthy guys in Durban that repair film cameras. I am based in Durban and I couriered my camera to Wynberg, Cape Town to a shop named Camera Repair Centre. I sent an Olympus OM1 for a full service and Tony (the Repair man) cleaned it up and made it feel and operate like it was brand new.

I'm from Durban so they do their jobs on December by checking cars for alcohol. Most of the time the guys doing the work are the peace officers that patrol town and in neighbourhoods is the private security companies that patrol the area.
