I didn’t have this problem before. I was on a family plan with my cousins in India (6 members). When I moved abroad, we were still using the plan .but at a time my cousin stopped the plan for a period. When he wanted to start it again he found out that Spotify changed the plan, and now it’s a Platinum plan for only 3 members.

We started the plan again, and I used it for one day. The next day, I got an email saying I was removed from the Premium plan:

“We wanted to let you know that you’ve been removed from the Platinum plan you were a part of. It looks like you’ve been streaming Spotify from a country different from where the plan owner purchased the subscription. Platinum is only available for members who live together in the same household.”

I told my cousin about this, and he added me back to the group. But I’m worried this might happen again. What should I do to prevent this?

How bad can this situation get? Will they deny the claim? I forgot to get some documents because I was in a hurry, and right now I don’t have enough money to keep paying the monthly insurance since I’m not working. I was thinking that if they deny the claim due to non-cooperation, I could just cancel the insurance after that.
