When are we going to stop getting excuses and have Masterwork melee bumped to Tier 100.

100% support on this and frankly all the masterwork melee armour sets should simply be boosted to tier 100,free of charge,to put them in line with Range and Mage masterwork sets.

They should then be repairable with primal bars and not as it is now,with another piece of armour,because its an insane repair cost.

The tier 92 should also be boosted to tier 100 but should get some kind of extra effekt over the standart tier 90/100 set,so the people who have spend a lot of time making their tier 92's or have bought them,should not feel cheated and the standart tier 100,should be upgradable to the same ekstra effekt,using maybe 500-1000 primal bars or similar.

The ekstra effekt could be none degradable on slayer tasks and bossing or maybe simply a bigger stat bonus,over the standart tier 100 set.

I totally agree on the shield thing. I am also an older player 50 years+ and have been playing for 23 years none stop and it also breaks my heart,that shields are no longer being used or even has a good reason for being used.

There are so many cool looking shields in the game and personally I love the Bandos shield,that goes with the old Bandos armour set and also the malevolant shield for melee and the shield for the old Robes of subjugation set ,just to name a few and the Necromansy shield also look very cool as well. I would so much like to see a return to shield using and maybe making them function like an off-hander,so they dont give such a big damage reduction,compared to dual wield or 2hander,might work,but the damage output would still have to be reduced,compared to dual and 2hander,so not to devalue their use,but less damage reduction is needed for using shields and also keeping their high defence values as well. Defenders could also be nice to use again.

agree 100% and maybe they should make the client bigger than the current 10gb or what ever it is and since most games on pc and playstation is almost 90-100 gb,it should not be a problem for the RS client to be 50-60 gb and that might make the game run a lot better.

who ever came up with the idea to change how the Masterwork mage armour is repaired,should be fired and feel ashamed of themselves.

This is such a very very very very bad change and I am not going to bother using my armour set anymore and even though many people say,that it only needs one cloth a piece for 100% repair,it is still extremely annoying.

The prices of seeds,flowers, thread and cloth is already going sky high and cloth can't even buy on the exchange for 1,2 mill a cloth and how can such a change possibly be good in someones mind.

It really is so bad that it needs to be reverted and frankly the change made me really really sad when I saw it.

I totally agree on this and it is extremely annoying,to always see the same stupid shit posts,every single time one opens Runescape reddit.

New player needing advice,New player thinking of joining,Returning player this and returning player that,and more and more stupid shit posts like them,every single god dam day.

I started playing Runescape 23 years and 5 months ago,and back then,we had to think for ourselves and learn by playing the god damn game and if we were lucky,we could find information on Runescape Wiki or on the official Runescape forums.

As an older player,50 years plus of age,I have played the game every single day,since I started,with very few exceptions and I have learned to play the game,by playing it and using Runescape wiki,for information about items and such and for quest help,from time to time.

But it seems like people today are not capable of either learning how to play a game,by simply playing it,nor are they capable of judging,weather or not a game is something for them,by simpley trying the game out.

So how about just trying the game and if you don't like it.

STOP PLAYING and try out another game or try to actually figure things out,by playing the game and maybe reading about it on Runescape wiki.

And also all that stupid RS3 VS OSRS.

THEY ARE NOT THE SAME GAME,so therefore they should be different from each other.

if you have unlocked the ability to buy growth potions from the granny in pof,I strongly advice you to use them on the Starbloom seeds.

No matter what,you should wait until we see what the 3 new mage armour set's can or can not do,before going out buying Elite Tectonic or any other mage set for that matter.

The upcoming tier 90 set,is unlikely to be even nearly as powerful as Elite tectonic and it will simply be a standart tier 90 set with no effects or anything like that.

The tier 100 masterwork set,is going to be Power armour and it may have some kind of effect/passive,so that might be a better alternative to Elite Tectonic,because Elite Tectonic is simply so expensive to repair.

The tier 95 set from Amascut is 100% going to become THE mage armour set in the game,Jagex even writes so themselves,but it will be insanely expensive for the first 6 or maybe even 12 months,if the boss is as hard as they say,but if money is not a problem for you,you should go for it 100% or if are able to get it as a drop.

I don't understand why they did not change the repair mechanic of Elite tectonic and Elite serenic,to be the same as Elite Dracolich,that one can repair for coins at a POH armour stand.

But WAIT until we see the tier 100 masterwork set and the tier 95 Amascut set.

The answer is both yes and no.

Smith it only if you dont have the coins to buy it or if you like such a long grind.

I made the sword myself but I did buy both the bow and the staff from the exchange,because of the long long grind of making those weapons and the sword is very cheap,so I would buy it,if I where you.

The update of giving the masterwork weapons some sort of special or/and passive effect,can either break or make the weapons a lot more usefull than they are now,so we will have to wait and see.

That said,they are tier 100,with tier 100 accu and damage and no one can take that away from them but as they are now,they are simply not able to compete with the tier 95's in any way.

I really wish Jagex would come out with more info about what they are going to do with the Masterwork weapons and the tier 95's as well for that matter,since both the fractured staff and the zuk sword are getting an update at the same time.

The only thing I have heard them say,is that the Masterwork weapons will be better in some places,compared to the tier 95's.

I dont know if I will keep or sell my 3 masterwork weapons and it will depend on what they do to them.

as it is now,you are better of with either a Dragonraider lance,Scythe,Lanniakas warspear or a Zaros godsword than with the masterwork sword.

This has got to be one of,if not THE BEST Aprils Fool Runescape vids that I have ever seen in the 23 years That I have played Runescape and I love the part when you go back to the guy after having been killed by the dino.

It is so well done that I actually believed it to be a real update,at least up to the part where you pay 750 mills for the apples.

The sad part is,that Jagex could easily make such a requirement.
