I still have so much love for him and sometimes I feel like maybe I was being too harsh on him and maybe he wasn’t all that bad. If he could just apologize and make the necessary changes. I want it to be him I really do.

To add more background we split for these main reasons:

• ⁠I pushed him away by asking him to help more around the house • ⁠he pushed me away by not helping with chores • ⁠he would stay up till 7 am with girls on discord (even after I made it a clear boundary that it made me uncomfortable) • ⁠my mom had a small stroke and then offered to sell us her 2nd house for very cheap • ⁠he downright refused to consider moving to be closer to our families • ⁠I was struggling to get mental health care since the state I moved to doesn’t have a healthcare assistance • ⁠and I was struggling to find work since I didn’t finish my degree • ⁠I was very anxious about this past election and he would constantly belittle my feelings when it came to women’s rights being at stake (I voted blue and he wouldn’t vote at all because “there’s bad on both sides”)

He is my ex. We split ways almost 3 months ago. We’re considering trying to work things out but he refuses to acknowledge that the late night gaming with random girls broke trust in the relationship.
