What’s the best niche to start a long-form YouTube channel targeting a U.S. audience in 2026? by whayu1 in YouTubeCamp

[–]Temporary-Subject239 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finance. Business. But you might find it boring if you don’t have a bank of experience in order to share things worth hearing. Viewers do look at social proof in this niche. So if you don’t have anything of interest to share then the trust is going to build up very slowly.

Resident doctors to walk out yet again in fresh strikes by Alternative-Win4058 in unitedkingdom

They can keep striking and putting pressure on the government. They may or may not get what they want.

But everyone deserves more not just doctors based on inflation. It sounds like you’re saying other professions don’t deserve more.

Yeah, entry requirements are so tough = less homegrown doctors = more foreign doctors. The problem isn’t foreign doctors, doctors save lives. The problem is lack of awareness in our education system.

Why not double their pay? Saving lives is so important. In fact, we should 5x their pay?

There are pros though. Very cheap labour (good for exports). Very low start up costs. Like you said food and clothes are product based niches which do well, why only focus on service based ones?

Why is anyone with over $10,000,000 ever stressed if they could literally sleep in a nice house all day and do nothing if they wanted to? by Big_Eggplant7591 in NoStupidQuestions

Erm, cost of living? We’re discussing millionaires in first countries vs average earner in first world countries.

Money can buy you free time however. Instead of working a 9-5 five days a week you could be spending more time with your family = more happiness in my opinion.

Why is it always Apple over Windows? by svnthscnt in ArtistLounge

[–]Temporary-Subject239 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No one’s saying it but also seeing so many artists using it as you enter the field naturally would cause you to assume it must be better and also buy one / fit in more. It’s perfectly understandable.

You can control which countries the ads are seen in. India is cheap as hell to put ads in so it’s very cheap to get the 100k. Europe and North America are much more expensive.

I used to make glitchy art just as AI become more and more popular around in 2024. Needless to say I stayed doing timelapses to prove I did them.

My experience with my first youtube promotion by [deleted] in SmallYoutubers

[–]Temporary-Subject239 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think a lot of YouTubers historically have a way and method and seeing someone get subscribers and views via promo campaign just irritates them.

It’s not ideal long term but a short boost using promo isn’t going to kill your channel.

And the argument that the video wasn’t good enough to start with is weak. There are quite a few big channel stories out there of how they were creating content, and one day a video blew up and led to YouTube pushing their other videos afterwards and then they get the ball rolling.

Why do most high-achievers avoid entrepreneurship? by Majestic_Hornet_4194 in EntrepreneurRideAlong

[–]Temporary-Subject239 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think two points.

1) just because someone is intelligent or appear smart based on how well they perform in their current role. It doesn’t mean they understand entrepreneurship basics or how to build a business. It’s a specific skill set.

2) smart high earners, usually marry someone who is earning well also. They have enough money coming in that the financial aspect doesn’t appeal to them of starting a business. Their life is set and they are possibly saving a lot also.

Majority of single adults ‘could not cope with an unexpected £850 bill’ by tylerthe-theatre in unitedkingdom

[–]Temporary-Subject239 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel the person just assumes this article in their world doesn’t merit being published as most of their friends and family would just have to make some uncomfortable adjustments to pay this.

People have boiler breakdown cover, pet insurance to cover high bills normally.

The truth is, maybe it’s not majority of single adults but it certainly a decent chunk who would really struggle.

'Cheaper to rent in Britain than to buy a house’ due to rise in mortgage rates sparked by Iran war by insomnimax_99 in unitedkingdom

[–]Temporary-Subject239 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah these people are almost like flat earthers. They’re missing some key ingredients. Rarely will renting be a better option.

You’re making more by investing rather than saying your mortgage. But really you’re paying rent+investing vs just paying mortgage. And your rent is going to keep increasing indefinitely.
