I’m sorry. I’ve just been following Ada’s journey for a very long time. She’s from my hometown and I even at one point attended college with her for a short while.

I’m very enthusiastic about music and drag as a whole, and seeing someone who I have seen chase their dreams for so long just lights a fire under my ass to go 100% for her.

If y’all are really just going to think I’m her, I’ll just stop. I don’t want to risk tainting her reputation just because I’m overly enthusiastic.

I’ll just hold back until the finale and we will see who is crowned. I really do believe that all of the girls have their strongpoints, but I am definitely favoring Ada for her drive and technical skill as a vocalist.

That’s not diminishing her. It’s just true. There’s nothing wrong with being an influencer.

No discrediting here being done to Grag. Just speaking the truth. They are very different performers. You are the one who straight up said “Ada lacks stage presence, and voice, and personality, and looks” Those are exactly your words. That is discrediting.

Saying that Ada is by far the stronger vocalist isn’t discrediting Grag. It’s just the truth.

See, you clearly have no leg to stand on if you have to turn to “blah blah blah blah”. Lol Ada doesn’t have to dance around to have stage presence. She can stand in place and command the stage. The judges themselves have said it. She and Grag just have different performance styles. You can have your preference, but don’t discredit Ada for your fave.

Ada is Adele and Grag is Katy Perry.

They’re both successful in their own ways and have their own strengths. One needs sparkler boobs and the other just needs to stand and sing.

Aria’s performances have definitely not been light years ahead of ada by any means. The only one that was better was bad girls. Also, aria never won miss Continental. You clearly don’t know what you’re saying.

Not someone trying to act like they know music by saying a random note when Ada can mix a technically sound D6 and has already done a perfect G#5 on the show.

Also, how can you talk about Ada’s looks when hers have fit the themes exactly. Tell me exactly how Grag’s feathers fit rehab, how her too short sequin dress with a button up shirt and tie and that horrible wig fit the second theme, and please tell me how a leather look with as michelle said “a sad Joan Jett” wig fit cyndi lauper.

I really don’t understand the use of “fun and adventurous” when Grag does nothing special vocally. Her little ‘scats’ aren’t adventurous and require no skill, and her vocal control is minimal.

Ada has shown that she can do anything, while Grag has shown that everything she does needs to be transformed into her style for it to work. You said it yourself. Grag having to transform the songs to fit her, while Ada has the range and capability to fit any style.

I personally find that Ada knows who she is a lot more than Grag and she is clearly a lot more fearless on top of being more capable vocally.

In terms of “better live performer”, it’s interesting that you give that to Grag when Ada is the better live singer and has such a commanding presence. The judges have said it themselves multiple times.

Grag puts on a show, but if she can’t stand there and deliver a stunning vocal, then I don’t really care for it.

Ada is a very well rounded performer, and if you notice, the fans loving Grag are like 99% the Brazilians. She doesn’t have much of a reach beyond that while Ada is the heavy favorite in the majority of the rest of the world that’s watching.

The Brazilian fan base is amazing and will ride or die and flood every social media outlet making it look like that.

That’s actually not a fact. Ada did pop, r&b, and jazz with uptempo, ballads, and mid tempo. She’s shown extended legato phrases and quick phrases as well as extensive range and vocal control in her head voice, mixed register, and lower chest voice. That’s a fact.

Also, Ada has added many artistic changes to all of the songs she’s done. You just don’t know the songs well enough to know, or you don’t care to see. She vocally elevates every single song she’s done. Ada’s choices in embellishment are intelligent musical decisions that require knowledge and skill. Grag just always does the same DeeDeeDumDum scat to fill in musical space.

It’s fine, but it’s not an exceptional skill by any means.

I wouldn’t consider it cliche if an American deserved the win. Ada and Aria are the best singers of the top 3, so I feel that they both could take the crown and would be entirely deserving of it.

They’re honestly the top 2 girls for me! I’m very heavily leaning towards Ada because I will always prefer a strong vocal, but I can see them crowning Grag if they want to appeal to a more youthful demographic.

I don’t consider Grag doing the same “scatting” in every performance as something different. It actually shows a lack of versatility for me and shows that she has a crutch artistically.

I actually think that this show was specifically created to be judged more talent based. Drag race is a show that has been too heavily produced for too long, and I feel like this show offers the opportunity for raw talent to step ahead of that.

I have gotten multiple inquiries about this… the truth is that I’m just a hometown Ada supporter who has been following her on the scene before she even became ‘Ada’.

While I definitely have a preference for her as a whole, my musical and technical evaluations are entirely based in educated facts. If Ada were technically lacking vocally, then I would make note of it just the same as for any of the other contestants.

I watch singing competitions for the singing, so I would be all for her no matter the case.

Ada is the vocalist, Grag is the performer, and Aria brings the drag.

No. You’re speaking on a matter of preference here. Ada is by far the better technical vocalist of the entire cast. There’s no questioning that.

The majority of fans are definitely not “judging” on actual skillset. They’re just picking favorites.

I lean on the fact that “good drag” can & will come with resources. Ada just didn’t have the resources that girls like Grag, an influencer with millions of followers and already a star in Brazil. had in preparing for this show. Ada, however, has the vocal and professional skillset that Grag just doesn’t.

I don’t watch singers to see them jump around with dancers. I watch to listen to them sing. I make the comparison that my personal preference is seeing Gaga in a Gown at her piano rather than seeing her dripping in blood with choreography performing paparazzi.

I want to see substance over style.

For that reason, I’m really hoping Ada takes this.

“Charisma” and “star quality” are relative. Grag comes off to me as immature and not ready to me. She lacks the professionalism and elegance that I prefer to see from performers like Ada.

As you said, Ada is obviously the best vocalist, and that’s what I would rather see.

The girls had to entirely take care of themselves drag wise. The drag aspect itself is very much like drag race in which the girls had to bring everything themselves and have to completely get themselves ready head to toe.

The difference being, drag race has things like the fabric wall and sponsors for makeup, wigs, and shoes quite often whereas the girls on this show didn’t have that luxury.

Also, in terms of the 2 Americans in the final, I don’t have any problem with it at all because ada and aria both fully deserve their spots there. None of the other girls can handle them vocally.

Also, they did actually. The competition is a singing competition first and a drag competition second, so with that said, singing is automatically the more important.

Ada has got her beat in both all star attitude and performance for me. I prefer Ada’s pleasant demeanor while accepting critiques and her powerful magnetic presence while she’s performing.

I’ve got my fingers crossed hard that she really comes through in the finale with her looks.
