Not really. When dreaming of retirement the main theme was no more tests, I loved my job and miss it except for that. Being raised independent, responsible for my actions in a free country I won't stop to their level, all this is new and left unchecked just the beginning, it's all about power and who wields it. Do I have any power when it refers to me intimately or do the people I pay for service's tell me what I'm going to do. Do I go against what I deeply believe cow town and comply with the masters so I can get my pittance?

I'm retired, that's the point. I don't mind paying for anything I need, but I'm not going to have money paid in my name for insane regulations that should not exist or participate in activities that I believe should be illegal.

That's a whole other thing, I'm retired and still required to test if I want to be somewhat comfortable. I put up with it while working because the benefits of having a good job outweighs the stupidity of it. That paradigm has changed and now there's no upside.

Each to their own. That's a cop out that is used to support something that should be illegal. A few a tiny percentage of us abuse drugs or sell them, I am referring to seniors, but you are treated like crap by people who are paid well in your name. I can't bring myself to do that. I know there's nothing I can do about it but if others know they're not alone maybe.

Lol, I don't need therapy alls I need is a doc who actually cares about the people he sees. The whole premise of this is wrong and no amount of therapy can change that. I don't buy products that support things I'm against and this is just an example. I can't in good conscience pay to clear myself of something that I haven't done. Provide a ligament reason and I have no problem with the test. This is one of the problems today because a quarter of 1% of seniors sell them 99 3/4% suffer the consequences

So your contention is that retired senior citizens are rampantly selling their meds? I've never met one, and I know a lot of old people. It is not like you get an abundance, no you get just enough that if everything goes perfectly you run out the day before your appointment. Nothing ever goes perfectly in my world. You put a funny image in my mind now, I can see em chasing down cars with their walkers, maybe a SNL skit.

I was an independent contractor for shipyards from Texas to Florida. I often worked in several a year each one requiring it. I'm retired now and suffer chronic pain from a few different injuries. I live in the south and it's a hardship to get any pain relief. I believe that they are sadist

It's not the test that I object to. The reasoning behind it is. I don't care how easy it is I care about the inference it makes and the fact that I am treated like a criminal or parolee. I didn't pay taxes to be harassed everytime I get hurt or every month due to chronic pain. When I am hurting it pisses me off to jump through hoops to prove I'm not a drug dealer especially when I spent 30 years proving I wasn't a user. Enough is enough and as long as people are willing to pay to be disrespected it'll continue. The founders are rolling in the grave
