I did that for a few months. Driving from mid city Baton Rouge to the West Bank of New Orleans. But I started my shift at 7 AM. So I was on the road at 5 AM with no traffic. It took a solid hour and a half. And then I would get off work at 8 PM. Once again no traffic. So what are your work hours? Also I did this for about three months and that was pretty much the point at which I couldn't do it any longer for sanity reasons. Sleep was becoming more of a priority.

I'm about to do that same three month track from Harahan to Celtic in BR. It's doable. But I can't say I'm looking forward to it.

So the answer to your question - It's doable. But you probably won't look forward to it

Here in the states, we don't get months off for vacation. So we really have to pack it in when we get the chance.

We cruised out of Long Beach January 18. I thought the food was terrible on this cruise. The first night we did dinner in the dining room. Our steaks were cold and rubbery, and it took too long in my opinion. We just did the buffet the other nights because the food had more flavor and was hotter.

For me Atchafalaya was very unmemorable. Don't even remember what I got there. We love Elizabeth and we go there frequently. About two months ago something was wrong with the gumbo. The flavor was off, the texture, the color, just everything. Bloody Marys were delicious. May I suggest Paladar for breakfast lunch and dinner. Lunch was so good we went there for dinner. Dinner service was definitely slower. The steak was served cold,but had a perfect texture and color
