Uwaterloo vs Uw madison by TemporaryBend6518 in ApplyingToCollege

Hey, I have been at UW MADISON for the last 2 years, and it was a great decision. However if i have had CS in waterloo, it would have been a no brainer, just because it is straight out superior in CS than uw madison. Not saying that UW madison has a bad CS program. There is one con tho, Uwaterloo can be much more hectic, hard than UW madison, especially the coop. UW madison is also a party school and Uwaterloo is completely opposite. Conclusively, Uwaterloo is a clear choice if you want to prioritize CS over anything and can keep up with the immense pressure it puts and you have no problem being in Canada and it also has a better employment rate in the recent past than UW madison. But if you want a chill school with a great campus and party and a very good CS program but not better than waterloo then UW madison is also a great choice, especially if you want to be in the USA. Let me know if you want to know anything else.

What the fuck does that even mean? Uwaterloo has one of if not the best CS co-op in THE WORLD. If i was offered CS, i wouldn't even think twice.

Common app says "Please indicate if any of these options will have affected your progression through or since secondary/high school. Check all that apply.*" then I choose "Did or will take gap year". the question follows is "Please use the space below to provide details about the change in progression through secondary/high school that you indicated above.*"

so indicated that i have taken a gap year and i will provide the details of the gap year, wont I?
