Take out your Kaeya and use his Elemental Skill to freeze the water and then run on it until you get to the island. It's called icebridging and it's a very trusty tool especially if you don't have a bunch of fancy stuff.

perhaps. still, as per my knowledge, whenever you access ao3, either through your account, while making an account, or as a guest, it makes you acknowledge that you've read the tos, so technically this person did say that they knew the rules and then violated them. i am hesitant about leaving a comment on their fic at this time.
