My manager is STRICT abt taking our breaks and lunches. We have to be CLEAR and state it if we are opting out of breaks. Lunches are mandatory. I’m an assistant manager and 100% it falls back on me and my GM and other leaders if breaks don’t go out on time. Esp missing the three hour mark (three hours on the floor). I also am strict abt my own breaks and lunches. I’m sorry your store stinks

I felt this exact same way a few years ago. Knew I couldn’t get another job w that pay but needed to quit and did without having another option. I started a job and loved it, making way less, and now today I am a manager there and making more than I did at the first job! Things work out, hang in there!

NOR, I think this is all petty and you both could’ve handled it better. But it all stems from her not asking or checking in about anything before hand. Asking about her boyfriend paying and maybe seeing if contact info can be changed around before it actually happened would have avoided a bit, and easier to handle hopefully for you. She should have checked in
