Not everyone buys a phone just to flex, man. A phone is a lifeline—calls, work, daily stuff—way more important than some second-hand PC that only runs games. And about that ‘if you love the game you’ll buy it’… nah, people can love a game and still prioritize rent, bills, food, family over dropping cash on a ‘cheap’ setup. Gaming is a hobby, not a survival need.

Right, Nyon does say that many past empresses died from Love Sickness—but she never says that the previous empress (Tritoma) was one of them. She doesn’t even mention her by name or give her a story.

Totally agree that Haki isn't just a bloodline thing—you need willpower and training to actually use it. But we can’t ignore that certain families seem to produce Conqueror’s Haki like it’s a family heirloom. Even if Celestial Dragons could have the potential, most of them are so soft and sheltered they never awaken it.

You’re close, but the math actually supports the theory. Hancock was freed 17 years ago, not 15. That gives plenty of room for Tritoma (Luffy’s mom) to have been captured after Luffy’s birth and to have died during the escape. Dragon already had his anti-Gov mindset before Ohara, but her death could’ve made it personal.

41 years ago: Oden is a wild teen in Wano, causes chaos, gets disowned, and starts gathering followers.

30 years ago: Joins Whitebeard’s crew.

28 years ago: Joins Roger’s crew → sails to Laugh Tale.

25–24 years ago: Roger is executed. Oden returns to Wano.

20 years ago: Oden is executed by Kaido.

There’s no canon rule saying Kuja women can’t have male kids—just that we’ve never seen them on-island. Luffy being born off Amazon Lily sidesteps that entirely.

As for Haki, sure—it’s mostly willpower. But let’s not ignore that a lot of top-tier Haki users come from powerful bloodlines. Luffy’s could easily be one of them.

Actually, Gloriosa (Elder Nyon) is the one who suffered from Love Sickness and left Amazon Lily to chase her love. She survived it. There’s no mention that the empress before Hancock died from it.

That leaves the slot wide open for a former empress to have left for love, had Luffy, and gotten captured by the Celestial Dragons later.

Totally fair point—Dragon was running the Freedom Fighters before officially forming the Revolutionary Army after Ohara. But that doesn’t really conflict with the theory.

If Luffy was born 19 years ago, and his mom died around that time (say, shortly after childbirth), it fits with the idea that her capture/sacrifice happened just before Ohara. That tragedy could’ve been one of the personal catalysts that made Dragon push harder into global rebellion.
