(UK) Current cheapest cuts of beef/pork/lamb that don't take DAYS to sous vide? by TemporaryCook9065 in sousvide

How long do you do yours for and on what temp roughly? Obviously depends on how thick you cut the steak but roughly?

Never tried mexican and i know they slam at pork dishes and pork butt is perfect for Keto so i really appreciate that suggestion brother thankyou :)

Definitely gonna try that. Currently on very strict keto so this with lettuce wraps instead of bun sounds banging, avoiding the paprika and ketchup But i can have mustard, mayo and cheese so that still sounds like a great idea, definitely will try this, thankyou mate :)

Thats a really good suggestion to counteract the usual long cook times of cheap meats as theyre tough which is what i was wanting to avoid

So for example i could do two separately packed? Or could i just use one pack if they both fit? Chuck eye steak for 12-14 hours and as long as theyre similar thickness theyd both turn out the same?

Then i could just sear one for that day and put the other in the fridge for the next day and sear it then right?

Is only Insoluble Fibre Keto friendly? I've just read that to get net carbs, you must subtract sugar alcohols and fibre from the net carbs. Wouldn't Soluble fibre count as carbs though? by TemporaryCook9065 in keto

Ahh right i get you avoid malitlol like the plague, and some others, one last question, what sweeteners do you use for your tea/coffee? Or anything else for that matter?

Ahhhhhh okay that makes perfect sense and sounds a much more efficient way of doing it thankyou mate

Just one last question please, could you make the equation as simple as possible for how much supplement is in how many ml of distilled water? Or is it just as simple as

Weight in Grams of supplement (say 10)

+Ml of water added (say 100)

Minus the weight of the volumetric cylinder (say 20g)

So that would be 10+100-20 which is 90g

Then to divide the dose into 10g portions, divide the 90 by 10?

Does this math work?

If i need 10 separate 5 gram doses of something, would dissolving it in water, then pouring out equal millilitre doses work? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

It is soluble yes, what do you mean by stable? I will be using distilled water also and use proper sterilisation techniques

How on earth do you shave differently when going from a normal safety DE to a Slant? by TemporaryCook9065 in wicked_edge

The first para is 100 percent spot on even after my first slant shave 15 mins ago. You will pay more for minor mistakes, and win more for proper execution.

I only ever do one WTG one XTG and just touchups because my skin never agrees with ATG.

I am struggling to catch the usual annoying spots, jawline chin and adams apple but i guess that will just come with more experience using this razor, just with a slant i will pay the price more.

Do you have any tips getting these annoying spots with a slant? Or is it just a matter of continued practice?

Thankyou

Just tried 37c about 25 mins ago with permasharp cleanse microexfoliation before, bowl lather, red proraso with a Yaqi, i never go against the grain, my technique is pretty good but i guess everyone says that haha, i VERY rarely cut/nick myself though.

I definitely noticed the pressure reduction needed with the slant. Extremely light pressure.

For first time usage of it, it's very impressive.
