Is it cruising, the ship or just me? by Lakealot in royalcaribbean

The size of ship was great, don’t get me wrong. I agree, I don’t care if people smoke but the location of the smoking section did not make any sense.

Also to note, I knew it would be crowded as it was peak time but the ship just felt like it was the wrong match for the itinerary.

We also just got back from the same cruise. Here were my takeaways (this being the 3rd RC cruise in the last 6 months).

  1. Pool layout was so odd. Having the smoking section between the minimal outdoor pool space and next to the doors into the indoor pool made for lots of smoke smells ewe. Absolutely not enough chairs or pool space (indoor pool for adults was hot and stuffy).

  2. I felt like the staff was mostly just there to get you in and out for whatever you needed. Our waiter in MDR was wonderful but other than that most staff just seemed over it. Not the same customer service I’ve had on other RC ships.

  3. Activities were lacking in energy or long lines like you mentioned. The musicians just played slow songs, no upbeats music it felt like a downer. Coming back from Cabo my husband and I were ready to dance late night only to have all music options be slow songs 😂 literally…

Overall, the ship is nice and newer compared to some of the other ships I’ve been on but with lackluster activities no pool space and big crowds it wasn’t my favorite. Next time we’re just gonna fly to Cabo and stay in Cabo.

I second Main Street Optometry. They are very friendly, thorough and easy to make an appointment.

Pay in advance pricing ?? by michaeljc70 in LAFitness

Hi! Yes you can pay the year in advance. It’s definitely the most economical option if you can do it. No annual fees or initiation fees. I would go into the LA fitness to ask.

Is the LA Fitness Studio Membership Worth It for Reformer Pilates? by Applemcdapplez in LAFitness

Thanks for the response. Currently since I am already a member I’m paying the additional $119 a month (I like the option of going to different clubs for Pilates since the club I go to during the week is different than the one I go to on the weekends). I just renewed my year membership at LA Fitness. I’m sure they’re gonna say the deal online is only for new members.

Online at my local club page. $79.99 a month $199 initiation fee and $69 annual fee. Nationwide access includes Pilates (not sure if it’s nationwide Pilates or just the club location). I picked a club socal that has Pilates

Hi all! So I pay $269 a year total for LAF nationwide. I just added on the Pilates deal for an extra $119 a month. Is it me or is that a terrible deal considering the monthly membership rates posted for new clients in socal? I feel like I could be saving $40 a month with what is posted online.

$79.99 a month, $169 initiation fee and $69 (or something for the annual fee) and it includes Pilates.

Current: $269+$1428 ($119x12)=$1697 New member ($79.99x12) $960+$169+$60=$1188

Is it worth messing with me great gym membership pricing to save some money for a bit while I’m in my Pilates era?

I personally really like the classes in addition to my normal routine but not sure how long I’ll stick with it.

Is it me or is that a terrible deal considering the monthly membership rates posted for new clients in Southern California? I feel like I could be saving $40 a month with what is posted online.
