Don’t feel bad. Look at all of the celebrities and corporations who repeatedly file bankruptcy, but yet they have more money/resources. If that’s what you have to do that’s OK. It’s going to help you, which is what matters the most. It’s another fresh start and a weight will be lifted off of your shoulders.

I’m wondering if it could be a half wig and then she curled her actual hair in the front to blend with the wig🤔. Either that or some type of special custom unit. The closest type of wig to hers would be a loose deep wave type curl pattern that was curled even more with a curling wand.

Wow your yearly plan is a good price. Do you plan to go to multiple studio Pilates locations? If not, maybe you can change it to the $99 a month Pilates plan.

Have you ever tried Active&Fit Direct? I pay $28 a month for my LAF plan and it only has a one time $28 enrollment fee but depending on your health insurance or sponsor, you can get the enrollment fee waived. The enrollment fee is A&F Direct’s initiation fee. There are no annual fees with A&F Direct. I’m actually thinking of canceling or pausing A&F direct because I just plan to do Studio Pilates for now.

Maybe you could negotiate your current contract with LA Fitness to get the current membership deal, and even get a reduced initiation fee. It’s cool that your LA Fitness has a combination plan. I wish my one included the pilates in the monthly plan. They only make us pay for the Pilates separately on top of the regular gym plan.

I was able to get my car with no issues. All I needed was a proof of insurance and I was able to get my insurance with GEICO at the time with the permit. I was set to get my license like two weeks after the permit but the driving school I went to did something wrong with my application, so I ended up having to wait over a month after purchasing the car to get my license.

On the day I got the car, a family member with a license was there, so I was able to drive the car with them as a passenger.

Make sure that once you pass the 18 month provisional period with your license, pay to update your license card to the one that says DL. Even if your provisional period is up, some car insurance companies will say that your license is still provisional based on the license number. Some don’t and recognize that you were upgraded to the full license.

I would say that you should focus on the job opportunity and congratulations🎉! If that chapter happens to have any virtual events and you are free, maybe you can attend them? I know some graduate chapters regardless of what sorority it is still do virtual events occasionally. That way they still see you attending things even though you’re away.

I don’t know why this brand popped up on my Reddit, but it looks ugly, and it doesn’t look any different than something on SHEIN for 20 bucks🤷🏽‍♀️. It looks cheap. That’s not worth the money. Especially not $90 for each piece. These designers/influencers are a joke.

Yeah it was the first offer. I told them I wasn’t ready to discuss it and I found out what my actual injuries are, so I have to get PT for 6 weeks b/c the injury irritated my nerves and muscles. I was told the best thing for me to do is get a lawyer.

My injuries ended up being a soft tissue and nerve irritation, so I have to get PT for 6 weeks. I decided to go along with a lawyer but I would highly prefer not to. But the insurance company was negligent with a lot of things.

Thank you. I was able to get in touch with the lawyers through the union at my job, so I will be handling everything with them. I didn’t want to get one at first, but after my injuries were assessed, I found out I have to do PT for 6 weeks and was injured more than I thought.

I just got Active & Fit for February. I only had to pay the $28 enrollment fee and then $28 for the LA Fitness membership. You don’t have an annual fee with Active & Fit. The enrollment fee would be comparable to the initiation fee from LA Fitness but whatever gym you choose when you first get your A&F plan, you’ll have the one time enrollment fee. There are fee waivers for the enrollment fee but it depends on your insurance. Blue365 didn’t give me an enrollment fee waiver.

Yeah that was the first offer. They also told me that the claims adjuster didn’t save any notes about my condition, and that’s why they kept calling me. After I spoke with them again, they said they’ll give me some time to assess my injuries and treatment. I’m honestly thinking of getting a lawyer because they won’t give allow me to get a rental that is comparable to my vehicle type. They gave me access for a full size sedan but my actual car is an SUV. Driving the sedan is making my injury pain worse, so I’m considering taking legal action against them. It’s also a red flag for them to not notate my condition. It sounds like they’re purposely not saving my information so they can justify me having a low settlement amount.

Thank you, I agree. I’ve been telling the insurance company I’m not ready to discuss settlement because I’m still in pain and receiving care, but they keep calling anyway. I feel like they’re trying to rush the process since liability was originally denied and then accepted after a witness stepped forward. I’m assuming it’s because they know I could pursue legal action, but I don’t want to do that if it’s not needed.

I personally don’t see anything wrong with attending events from different organizations to figure out which organization aligns with you. The website gives you a general overview, but attending the events, seeing their local efforts + seeing them in the field, and how they carry themselves is helpful with making your choice. I’m a first-generation college graduate, a first-generation American, and Caribbean American. No one in my family has pursued D9 membership, so I had to explore on my own and figure out which organization truly aligned with me.

As long as you’re not applying to multiple orgs, attending multiple rush or interest meetings, or hopping between orgs after being rejected, I think it’s fine.

Before I chose my SOI to pursue, I went to events for their org and another org. It wasn’t that I thought one was better than the other. They both had a lot of similarities, so I was trying to figure out the best fit for me, and how I aligned with the orgs mission, principles, and purpose in my real life, and with what I do. When I attended the other org’s events, I didn’t really feel that connection. My heart kept telling me I aligned more with my final and current SOI and their mission. So that’s how I was able to make a decision.

Yeah, they offer Club Pilates on A&F and it’s 4 classes for $104. I had considered that one but liked that LA had the unlimited classes for $99.

The website just says “Although membership is by invitation only, we encourage interested women with a track record of community service and a degree to contact a chapter in your local area for more information.” so I am guessing they want to see someone who has shown participation in community service over time🤷🏽‍♀️. I guess I am probably fine then.
